Packaging and product felt premium and were fairly easy to setup. App is slick, and while I have some minor complaints, it's better than many companion apps.
Tapping it does work quick. And I like the way it uses info provided to quickly generate a business contact profile that is available on your Popl site. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I got the sticky Popl on sale at a retailer. For that, I paid half price and bought two, in case my spouse was interested.
Setup was neat. I get why it couldn't really be done, but I wish the QR Code wasn't so prominent, especially as (to my knowledge) it's just for setup?
I also understand the immediate push for Popl pro in the app, but it put me off a bit. For something that is basically a Linktree competitor, with a physical aspect, it felt like the free tier ought to have more options for design options to more robustly compete with them.
One pretty quick realization I had was that if I wanted to use the physical Popl, I would need to get another case, or use it with a non-MagSafe case for my phone, as I am a frequent MagSafe user and didn't realize the Popl was thick enough to disrupt use of larger MagSafe accessories like wallets. I see now a MagSafe option is available though.
Overall, I'm kinda mixed. I am a tinkerer and have a lot of thoughts on how I would want things to be done differently, but I am confident this is helpful for a lot of folks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The most helpful aspect of Popl is the ability to integrate with CRMs, Project Management tools and Outlook or Gmail for future followups.
If I didn't scan someone else's QR code, but scanned or took a picture of their business card, it was still able to be uploaded into Hubspot and I could send my information easily to people I didn't give out a business card to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The same icons or ways to do something is not on the app and you would have to login on a computer to be able to do some integrations.
Also, I wasn't quite sure when leads would be uploaded to the CRM I was using, so I eventually just exported them manually. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Using Popl makes it so much easier to get my contact information out there as well as gather others info as well. I love how there is a feature that I can toggle on and off that allows me to choose if I want to capture someone else's information first to allow me some time to get to know them before I give mine. Its a greet feature that I plan to use in the beginning. Thanks! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish there were more devices offered - they have such a great variety now but the items could be endless! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The main elephant in the room is the convenience. In a world that is leaning more and more towards tech for not only business but life in general, this is the simplest e-card solution for me. Everyone (in context) has phones, whether prospective clients or potential collaborators, and it's very easy to lose a physical card. Another big pro is how much info you can have stored in Popl and shared. I'll close with the option to have your info stored behind an info wall which is just an easier way of capturing their info. Its great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I honestly don't have any dislikes yet. I think this is something that's very hard to dislike as long as you keep in mind what it is, sometimes simple is best. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Setting up my Popl profile was incredibly straightforward. The platform allows users to create a digital business card that includes all essential information—name, job title, contact details, social media links, and even a portfolio link. The user interface is clean and intuitive, making the onboarding process a breeze. The app is available for both iOS and Android, and I had no issues downloading or navigating the interface. First, some users may find the technology daunting if they are not familiar with NFC capabilities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Having split off with my previous business partner, and only recently starting my own brand, gigs have not been as steady, and so I've had to cut down on costs of operation. With a digital business card, I won't have to spend more money on physical ones, plus I know people won't lose it as everyone has their phones on them more often than not. Plus it's sheer simplicity, I think, would make it rather usable by people of all ages. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I'm personally not entirely fond of the subscription model as a whole, though of course Popl's is optional. The GUI was also a bit confusing on my first time making a business card—and I didn't think it was very clear what the "Links" were. Perhaps there were too many options, I think. I felt a bit overwhelmed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Popl is super easy to manage from an administrative role, keeping brand guidelines at the forefront for more than one brand. Getting things set up has been super easy and the support from their onboarding was very helpful. The Zapier connection allows us to load leads into Sugar CRM easily making it very efficient for trade shows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish there was more customization options for the business cards and forms, such as custom fonts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Shares my contact easily! Makes it nice and easy to network. I use it everyday and it was really easy for me to implemate it into my daily routine. Since all I had to do was set it up once and then everything was ready on my wrist. It has so many different connection options, from social media to websites to email to phone to everything. I would like to be able to set the nfc chip in there to be just a contact v-card that can be loaded directly to the chip instead of your business hosting a site with my info and having to download it from there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like it how it is easy to use. It can be implemented and used straight away with few simple steps.
It made my business interaction easier and I am using it frequently to sahre my contact details and to add new contacts.
The useful features are designed to make the process more enjoyable and it it let you integrate easily and to have all your information inclduing social media in one card.
The customer support is integrate within the app and is just a click away. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is nothing that I would dislike since it has all what is needed and more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What stands out about Popl, the digital business card platform, is its seamless integration of technology and networking. Users can easily create and customize their digital business cards and share them via NFC or QR codes, making networking more efficient. The platform’s analytics features are also a great advantage, allowing users to track interactions and gather valuable insights about their connections.
