WHAT ARE THE MAIN FEATURES OF PLANABLE? At its core, Planable is the product of three people who experienced the same social media management hurdles in their agency days. Consequently, Planable designed its main features with teams in mind. WYSIWYG Planable follows a WYSIWYG design philosophy, focusing on simplicity, elegance, and efficiency. Planable is designed to be user-friendly both to technically-savvy social media teams as well as those that simply want a tool that gets the job done. Everything is one click away and in the same place — no need to clutter your browser with dozens of tabs. FOUR WAYS TO VIEW CONTENT Social media campaigns have lots of moving parts. This makes having an accurate overview of campaigns all the more important. Planable’s four ways to view content allow teams to literally vizualize their work quickly and effortlessly: 1. Feed view. Designed to mimic the feel and flow of social media. Displays posts exactly as they appear on feeds. 2. Calendar view. Get a helicopter view of campaigns and plan posts days and months ahead. Scheduling content is as simple as dragging and dropping it to its relevant time slot. 3. List view. Offers a quick view of posts across all pages and the ability to do bulk actions. In this view, users can see a snippet of the caption, the status of the posts, the author, and the date and time of publishing. 4. Grid view. The place to plan and preview Instagram posts. Also great for designing beautiful Instagram grids hassle-free. SEAMLESS TEAM COLLABORATION With Planable, collaboration is the name of the game. Collaboration happens right next to the post, where it makes sense, in the form of comments and replies. Teams can tag each other to share their thoughts, drop files, and any relevant assets. With internal notes, teams can keep their work away from the client’s eyes until all the posts’ rough edges have been shaved. MULTI-LEVEL APPROVAL PROCESSES With Planable’s approval workflows, no post sees the light of day until it’s 100% ready. Every team has its own dynamic, so Planable offers one of four approval workflows: 1. None. For one-person ventures and teams that don’t need an approval workflow. 2. Optional. For flexible teams that don’t necessarily need an approval workflow but want one in place just in case. Team members can request approval from the people in charge with a single click. If the designated approver is not available, they can go ahead and schedule and/or publish posts on their own. 3. Required. No post goes live without the approval of managers. Especially useful for marketing teams who work with clients. 4. Multiple levels of approval. Teams that select this option can set as many levels of approval as they need. Each level can have one or multiple approvers. When one of them gives their approval, the post is pushed to the next level until all the relevant parties have vetted the content. What do you like best about Planable?

The grid, the ability to move posts, the number of accounts, the addition of carousels finally available. The price is reasonable compared to the competition. The service is responsive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The number of bugs: posts do not go through, accounts disconnect all the time. We cannot provide a preview to our client. Impossible to automatically post videos. Posts are completely mixed up on the phone version. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I liked most about Planable is that they have a free plan. For small business owners, this is a must where we do not have to fork out money to try something. Analytics is not something we plan to bring into Planable in the near future. Our focus is planning, previewing, and collaboration 😔 For analytics, we recommend Social Insider, they offer a dedicated 25% discount for Planable users.

As for reels, we now support direct publishing for reels!

I am loving the step-by-step guidance on setting up my various social media pages for my part-time small business. I have been able to take my artistic talents and turn them into a soul-filling side gig. I wish there was a customer service # or live chat agent for support. This Full-Time Mom and Wife, Full-Time Corporate Business Development Consultant, Volunteer, Girst Scout Leader, PTA, and Part-Time Small Business owner/ superstar is pressed for time. I honestly spend it like money! What do you like best about Planable?

I love the clean experience of posting everything in one UI with no distracting ads or switching between apps. Everything you need is right there, and nothing you don't. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Planable?

They charge per "workspace" which is really just a separate view of accounts, as well as per user. It's quite pricey for the features. Syncing posts published outside Planable doesn't seem to happen automatically, despite being a paid feature on the upgraded business account. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Planable?

We were looking for a tool that has removed all the fluff and provides a user-friendly intuitive experience for both our team and clients to manage various SMM campaigns.

Planable delivers exactly that. The right amount of functionality and features, robust authorisation and approval settings, clean and intuitive UI and scheduling and fantastic customer service both in terms of response time and usefulness of responses. It has significantly reduced the turnaround time from scheduling to review/approvals/edits to posting and is an enjoyable platform to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Planable?

From a pure schedule, approval and post perspective there isn't anything to really dislike - it has all the functionality that you would expect to see and require to have in order to streamline this internal process.

This is not really a dislike but it would be great to have the platform support Twitter threads however I understand this is being considered. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Planable solving and how is that benefiting you?

Time, time and time - it has saved us a significant amount of time compared to what it previously took for the entire end to end process. The intuitive nature of the platform ensures that everyone is on board with it and it is being adopted. It also removes a lot of the chaos which can occur during this process and ensure that the right people are notified at the right to interact with the process while ensuring that the experience at each stage is custom to the user. What do you like best about Planable?

I have been researching for weeks for the best social media automatic post scheduler! Finally, I came across Planable, and for my primary purpose (linked in), it caters to everything I want! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Planable?

Currently not being able to choose a custom uploaded thumbnail for linked in videos. You can choose from video though at least that's something. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Planable:

If you are missing out on posting onto your social media channels at peak time, using an auto post scheduler is key to keeping your brand alive. I've been using it a week now and it's so much better to just batch upload/ plan your posts for the upcoming week, then sit back and not need to lift a finger again for another week!
