WHAT ARE THE MAIN FEATURES OF PLANABLE? At its core, Planable is the product of three people who experienced the same social media management hurdles in their agency days. Consequently, Planable designed its main features with teams in mind. WYSIWYG Planable follows a WYSIWYG design philosophy, focusing on simplicity, elegance, and efficiency. Planable is designed to be user-friendly both to technically-savvy social media teams as well as those that simply want a tool that gets the job done. Everything is one click away and in the same place — no need to clutter your browser with dozens of tabs. FOUR WAYS TO VIEW CONTENT Social media campaigns have lots of moving parts. This makes having an accurate overview of campaigns all the more important. Planable’s four ways to view content allow teams to literally vizualize their work quickly and effortlessly: 1. Feed view. Designed to mimic the feel and flow of social media. Displays posts exactly as they appear on feeds. 2. Calendar view. Get a helicopter view of campaigns and plan posts days and months ahead. Scheduling content is as simple as dragging and dropping it to its relevant time slot. 3. List view. Offers a quick view of posts across all pages and the ability to do bulk actions. In this view, users can see a snippet of the caption, the status of the posts, the author, and the date and time of publishing. 4. Grid view. The place to plan and preview Instagram posts. Also great for designing beautiful Instagram grids hassle-free. SEAMLESS TEAM COLLABORATION With Planable, collaboration is the name of the game. Collaboration happens right next to the post, where it makes sense, in the form of comments and replies. Teams can tag each other to share their thoughts, drop files, and any relevant assets. With internal notes, teams can keep their work away from the client’s eyes until all the posts’ rough edges have been shaved. MULTI-LEVEL APPROVAL PROCESSES With Planable’s approval workflows, no post sees the light of day until it’s 100% ready. Every team has its own dynamic, so Planable offers one of four approval workflows: 1. None. For one-person ventures and teams that don’t need an approval workflow. 2. Optional. For flexible teams that don’t necessarily need an approval workflow but want one in place just in case. Team members can request approval from the people in charge with a single click. If the designated approver is not available, they can go ahead and schedule and/or publish posts on their own. 3. Required. No post goes live without the approval of managers. Especially useful for marketing teams who work with clients. 4. Multiple levels of approval. Teams that select this option can set as many levels of approval as they need. Each level can have one or multiple approvers. When one of them gives their approval, the post is pushed to the next level until all the relevant parties have vetted the content. What do you like best about Planable?

I really like the Calendar view where I can see in one hand:

- all draft post not yet scheduled to a day

- all past and future posts accross all platforms, which is a great way to see how I post accross the platforms.

While I working alone, I use the comments for ideas to improve my posts.

Finally I do also really enjoy the way to categorize my posts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Planable?

The mobile application can be improved especially when using french accents, as well as the navigation for editing long posts. However the team is really responsive and I know they are working on these 2 pains for me right now.

Maybe having a working offline mode could help when I have an idea in the subway without 3G. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Planable solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you like best about Planable?

I love the user friendly design of the app for my clients to use. I tried a lot of other companies with trial runs and this was one of my favorites from the client perspective. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Planable?

I wish it wasn't as expensive as it goes up in price per client and per user, but that's the name of the game I suppose for systems like this. I also wish there was a way to hide pictures in your media library that you have used already (like Later does). I often have the go back and double check if I already used an image which takes precious time away from my day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Planable solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have a client that is very particular on how the images look and what the caption says so this solved a HUGE communication gap we had to figure out to get feedback easily. We are able to not only have them mark if a post is approved, but they can also edit the captions themselves and send us comments on the posts that only we can see. What do you like best about Planable?

This tool is simple to use and visually; it's a dream. It took me minutes to get my head around how to use it and I was off. Plus, it has an App! Planable is definitely up there in my Top 2 favourite Social Media Tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Planable?

No dislikes, however I would like the option to have the articles from my website, that have already been published as posts, post again, intermittently(from a carousel perhaps) without me having to physically re-schedule them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It provides us with the ability to work across multiple clients and workspaces, seek approvals and publish straight to the network

What do you like best about Planable?

Planable's UX is great and allows the user to choose between workspace setups (e.g. scheduling calendar). Hassle-free so far. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Planable?

Very easy to manage any page/account on most-used social networks. It works very fast and really does the job as it should. Not too complicated and it can be managed very easy by anyone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Planable?

I can't say that is anything that I dislike but I would suggest to add some features like Saving the most used hashtags or suggesting hashtags. Also, use of stockimages from the account can be a big plus. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Unfortunately, analytics it's not something we plan to bring into Planable in the near future. Our focus is planning, previewing, and collaboration 😔 For analytics, we recommend Social Insider, they offer a dedicated 25% discount for Planable users.

As for the hashtags, you could use hashtags with Planable 😊

What do you like best about Planable?

The grid, the ability to move posts, the number of accounts, the addition of carousels finally available. The price is reasonable compared to the competition. The service is responsive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The number of bugs: posts do not go through, accounts disconnect all the time. We cannot provide a preview to our client. Impossible to automatically post videos. Posts are completely mixed up on the phone version. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
