Planable is a social media collaboration platform that brings teams and brands together under one roof. WHAT ARE THE MAIN FEATURES OF PLANABLE? At its core, Planable is the product of three people who experienced the same social media management hurdles in their agency days. Consequently, Planable designed its main features with teams in mind. WYSIWYG Planable follows a WYSIWYG design philosophy, focusing on simplicity, elegance, and efficiency. Planable is designed to be user-friendly both to technically-savvy social media teams as well as those that simply want a tool that gets the job done. Everything is one click away and in the same place — no need to clutter your browser with dozens of tabs. FOUR WAYS TO VIEW CONTENT Social media campaigns have lots of moving parts. This makes having an accurate overview of campaigns all the more important. Planable’s four ways to view content allow teams to literally vizualize their work quickly and effortlessly: 1. Feed view. Designed to mimic the feel and flow of social media. Displays posts exactly as they appear on feeds. 2. Calendar view. Get a helicopter view of campaigns and plan posts days and months ahead. Scheduling content is as simple as dragging and dropping it to its relevant time slot. 3. List view. Offers a quick view of posts across all pages and the ability to do bulk actions. In this view, users can see a snippet of the caption, the status of the posts, the author, and the date and time of publishing. 4. Grid view. The place to plan and preview Instagram posts. Also great for designing beautiful Instagram grids hassle-free. SEAMLESS TEAM COLLABORATION With Planable, collaboration is the name of the game. Collaboration happens right next to the post, where it makes sense, in the form of comments and replies. Teams can tag each other to share their thoughts, drop files, and any relevant assets. With internal notes, teams can keep their work away from the client’s eyes until all the posts’ rough edges have been shaved. MULTI-LEVEL APPROVAL PROCESSES With Planable’s approval workflows, no post sees the light of day until it’s 100% ready. Every team has its own dynamic, so Planable offers one of four approval workflows: 1. None. For one-person ventures and teams that don’t need an approval workflow. 2. Optional. For flexible teams that don’t necessarily need an approval workflow but want one in place just in case. Team members can request approval from the people in charge with a single click. If the designated approver is not available, they can go ahead and schedule and/or publish posts on their own. 3. Required. No post goes live without the approval of managers. Especially useful for marketing teams who work with clients. 4. Multiple levels of approval. Teams that select this option can set as many levels of approval as they need. Each level can have one or multiple approvers. When one of them gives their approval, the post is pushed to the next level until all the relevant parties have vetted the content. What do you like best about Planable?

I am able to schedule social media posts and focus on other tasks while they run automatically. As an entrepreneur running all aspects of my business, efficiency is very important to me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Planable?

Nothing at all, I should have joined earlier. i can't complain guys, I am very happy thus far, perhaps a live intergration with tiktok or allowing me to post drafts on tik tok...for now I have to manually post everyday due tiktok trending sounds changing everytime. What do you like best about Planable?

A lot of social platforms included such as Linkedin, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and Tiktok. I like that within those platforms, I can set-up automatic postings across my personal, group, and business accounts. It's great for a one-man content team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Planable?

That it doesn't have Pinterest and I'm currently in a country that does not allow access to Tiktok. Although the local language version of Tiktok is available, I just wish I can access Tiktok from here. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Planable?

I like the simplicity of it and that its very user friendly to my clients. Easy to visualize all the posts and stories created and scheduled. Being able to automize everything is great! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sometimes its a bit glitchy or slow to load images. Which the mobile app was more user friendly in creating posts on the go. It wont let me for example create stories on the mobile app of Planable. Hoping to be able to shedule reels as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Planable?

It puts together the agency and the client in one single workspace and allows faster, informed decisions. Also, it helps clients visualize the actual social media posts and saves a lot of time = money spent in writing emails and Word documents.

The best thing about Planable is the pricing and the Custom plan option. Tons of platforms out there but no one offers a custom plane option and that is what catches my eyes also I like the interface also. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Planable?

Media Library inside - all the videos and pictures that someone uploaded in your company can be reused in different pages.

Photo editor with text and crop and effects - good to fix something before posting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Planable?

- It can NOT post stories on instagram without using your phone (some other services and even facebooks BusinesSuite can plan stories that auto-posts without taking actions from your side).

- It throws errors about "aspect ratio" or video duration and does NOT post, but when you have a carousel with 10 pictures there is no way you can see what picture have that problem. You have an editor, why you not auto crop it?

- You pay per user, not per social page. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Hey Kirill,

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Unfortunately, the API for publishing Instagram stories directly has not been released for any third-party scheduling tool. All Instagram publishing is done through Facebook's API, which is why Facebook Business Suite has access to publish stories (available since April). We're hopeful they'll give access to other tools as well in the near future.

We also appreciate your feedback regarding carousel posts and have forwarded this to our team. We're planning to improve this experience in the future so it's clear which image needs revising before it's ready for automatic publishing. I'll be happy to update you once this is live.

What do you like best about Planable?

The various post views - a lot of platforms don't have this simple yet much-needed feature! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Whilst Planable does have some great features, it is still a pretty basic platform compared to its competitors (i.e. no stats available, no community management and/or social listening features, etc.).

The pricing is also a bit steep for the features that are provided. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Platform we're moving away from has had a lot of technical issues and is late to adopt basic features which we've been able to find with Planable (i.e. @ mentions in copy, location tagging, etc.). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Planable?

One of the best features of planable is the calendar view, it helps us to lay out all of our posts in advance. The synching content feature is great as well because we don't have to copy the same post across all of our platforms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
