Top Rated Planable Alternatives

There are a lot of paid tools out there, but often I decide to use the free app version connected to our Canva account as it's just free and still value-adding. But among the paid apps that I use, Planable is one of those apps I'm looking forward to renewing and upgrading from an entry-level paid app to more features. The app saves me overhead costs, with its annual fee cheaper than one social media person per month. It takes me a day to finish a batch of posts per month for 4 social platforms, so in a year, I practically use 12 days and up to set up my socials. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The manual posting of other content formats isn't very convenient for posts outside my sane working hours or time zone. I usually miss those posts in a couple of days since I'm doing things solo, when kids are sick, or when the family is on a holiday. I wish this could seamlessly posted when it needs to. As a marketing agency managing multiple client accounts, Planable has been a total game-changer for us. It’s super intuitive and makes it so much easier to collaborate, plan, and schedule content across all the accounts we handle. Prior to using Planable we had tried 2 different social media management platforms that just didn't quite hit the mark.
What really stands out is their customer service. They’re quick to respond and always helpful, but what’s even more impressive is how they genuinely listen to feedback. We’ve made a couple of suggestions for improvements, and it’s clear they’re constantly working to make the platform even better based on user input.
We used Planable daily and is a huge part of our agencies success. Super easy to implement and get clients on boarded as well. Well done Planable team! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
we haven't found any downsides currently, the features that we are looking for are already in development Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Planable lets us collaborate about content, scheduling, approvals, and ROI all in one place for a reasonable amount of money each month per client. It has made our workflows so much easier and has eliminated virtually ALL SPREADSHEETS and links and folder sharing and version issues etc from our lives. Our agency has grown quickly and we wouldn't be able to keep up without Planable behind us.
I know it is going to become an everyday tool for us in our agency. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We had some issues when we were trying the "free plan." It wasn't clear that we wouldn't be able to share a "guest link" without paying - so our first attempt at sharing a glimpse with a client didn't go that well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I research a few differnent scheduling apps and the visual ease and intuitive vibe is what I liked. Seems to encompass the apps I want to use to drive my engagement. It seems to be the most inclusive of options that will same me time. Time is money. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I am supper new to this type of app as a social media newbie so feel there could be better deep dive how to videos by the plannable team. The help menu however is great. I'd like to see more in depth how to videos on youtube so I would not have to read. Either way I use the help topics and chat gpt to get me pointed in the right direction. Planable boosts my productivity and efficiency by simplifying the management and scheduling of social media content. The calendar view is extremely beneficial, and the ability to schedule across multiple channels at once is a game-changer for my side hustle. The integrations with other services are fantastic as well. I now use planable daily as part of my workflow. I haven't had to use customer support as yet because the ease of implementing this software into my workflow has been simple. Maybe it could be renamed - Simpable! I honestly can't think of a downside to planable other than it not being entirely free all of the time! That is obviously unrealistic. From a user perspective, I haven't found one downside so far. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like that the software is really clean and easy to use! Everything is where I expect it to be and I love how simple it is to upload, review and schedule posts. Overall, I chose Planable because it felt the most streamlined to me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would like to see a preview of my scheduled posts against what's currently live on my socials - this would help alot with grid planning. I would also like to have more control over what client profiles can and cannot see in each workspace. I also wish the post per month was higher for each level. After an extensive search for the perfect social scheduling platform, we finally landed on Planable. We needed a tool that not only offered collaborative features but also catered to creatives, and Planable checks both boxes. Unlike many platforms that focus solely on scheduling, Planable brings creativity to the forefront with customizable views that make it incredibly user-friendly and visually appealing.
Switching to Planable from our previous platform was seamless. Implementation was quick and straightforward, and the platform’s intuitive design made onboarding a breeze. Whenever I encountered an issue or had questions, the support team was fantastic. Quick to respond and always offering effective solutions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would absolutely love to see a feature for bulk stories, allowing users to group and post multiple slides at once instead of uploading them individually. Another wishlist feature would be the option to choose which stories post via the app and which don’t. Ideally, it would also be great to add story stickers and links directly within the platform. Fingers crossed this gets added in the future!
There are, however, some bugs that affect the experience, like random refreshing or posts created in the calendar view defaulting to the "Ideas" tab instead of the selected date. These quirks can be frustrating, but once resolved, I’ll be an even happier user. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We looked at another content scheduler, but the price was very high. Since our district is new to the idea of a content scheduler, it was a hard sell. Knowing a content scheduler could save me time, I came across Planable and took advantage of their free trial. There are a few restrictions, but you get the idea quickly. Two other colleagues tested it out also. It is so easy and straightforward to use. This is a HUGE time saver for me posting to five different outlets. Not to mention that I could add internal chores like adding a graphic to our website at the same time as scheduling the social media. We just signed up for the Pro version. We will probably post to social media more frequently because it is easy to use, implement, and schedule. We can schedule our posts well in advance. With the approval process, we are now able to invite other contributors to post their content, without us having to be involved in the scheduling, which means even more content will get posted. I am so looking forward to having a more robust online presence. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Instructions. It would be nice to have "thought bubbles" pop up to tell me how to do a task. And ones that I could dismiss over time. The jump from 150 posts to unlimited might be nice to have an intermediate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love how easy it is to interact with my clients. I've heard nothing but positive feedback from them as wlel which in return makes my business flourish. It has so many amaizng features like commenting and discussing with clients. Customer support is almost great and eveyone has been so kind. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dislike that images have to be under a certain amount of gb. This limits the quality of my posts sometimes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We love Planable because it lets us post to Pinterest and other platforms, is very affordable, has AI to help us write better content, and has excellent Customer Service. I have only had one issue since 2022, and they communicated with me and resolved the issue within 2 hours. I'm in the States, they are in Budapest, and this team is top-notch. Planable supports many services, but it would be nice to support services such as Alignable, Nextdoor, and Tumblr. Also, I don't particularly appreciate that the bulk edit feature for list view is only available with the Enterprise Plan. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Planable is very easy to use. It's intuitive, yes, but its robust features are what sold us. Tags, approval, comments/suggestions options ... just to name 3. I use it every day. If it weren't for needing to schedule content for our Google My Business page, we wouldn't have found Planable. So glad we did. So much better than Buffer and Hootsuite - both of which we've used previously (and paid for). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Even annualized, Planable's basic plan is a bit pricy. The onboarding series of emails is great, but also overwhelming. I don't need/want an email a day and it has gotten redundant.
Being able to delineate where the content belongs would be helpful. Instagram post v. story is just one type of separation. Facebook and Google My Business both have events and offers "sections." We are missing out on the Google side, and having to go to Meta Business suite is annoying. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
