What do you like best about Pistachio?

It's easy to implement, and easy to engage with. Random security related questions delivered to your inbox, no platforms to log in to. Phishing simulations are automated and are relevant, which provides a better level of engagement.

Customer support from Pistachio is excellent. The overall experience with Pistachio has been excellent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pistachio?

There is nothing to dislike about Pistachio. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Pistachio solving and how is that benefiting you?

Our previous Security Awareness Training platform was more manual, managed by me, making people log into to a portal to complete training modules. Phishing simulations were flat, not relevant, so easier to spot.

Pistachio is integrated in with your AD/Entra environment, setup on the client side is minimal. Set up a couple of AD groups, add the users to the user AD group and switch Pistachio on in the admin portal. Pistachio then does the rest. Phishihng simulations are made more relevant, targeting roles, or mentioning colleagues. Instantly it gives you pause, to question if it's genuine or not. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Pistachio?

Pistachio delivers a very easy to implement fully selfconstaining cyber security training and control solution, that in an effective but not annoying maner tests and trains your organization to better recognize and block cyber attacks.

Basically this is done through emails and SMS messages, added an extra "report phishing" button in Outlook and lastly an admin overview and reporting webpage.

Allthough almost self explanatory, Pistachio still delivers next to none Customer Support and perfect respond time if you need help, and all in all this is an absolutely top shelf standardized solution for something every organization needs, and not to forget, at a very reasonable prize. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pistachio?

Add-ons in Outlook is always annoying, but mainly because Outlook is not add-on-friendly, so Pistachio do include this, BUT although still an add-on then at least one of the best ones I have worked with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Pistachio solving and how is that benefiting you?

First and foremost Pistachio adds a new and very easy to understand/communicate process for how to react when receiving "attacks" (both test attacks and real).

By sending both test attacks and training messages to the users, based on roles and risk scenarios, Pistachio keeps all users on their toes and train them to be more aware and educated in their detection of real attacks.

Lastly Pistachio offers an esay to use admin webpage with reporting and overview of actions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Pistachio?

Clear overview of what types of phishing people are falling for

Loads of different reports to feed up the ladder to reflect progress company wide

No finger pointing, we can all make mistakes and click a link we are not supposed to, this teaches us to be more vigilant and highlights that we all need a critical eye before clicking anything Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pistachio?

I would like a little more options in the admin panel so that I could be alerted is x user failed the phishing x times for example. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Pistachio solving and how is that benefiting you?

Pistachio has been a big eye opener for me, I had assumed that in general people were vigilant and careful what they clicked on and what information they gave out etc. So when Pistachio came calling I assumed it was the same as a lot of these cyber companies where they want to charge you for training that your users do once and then forget about it. I have always seen that as a waste of time because people are only trying to pass the course rather than be more aware and vigilant.

I did a test period for Pistachio and the results were truly shocking, people of all levels of seniority failing these mock phishing emails in a big way. I really did not expect it and signed the contract within two days, since then I see a huge improvement in results. It works pure and simple. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Pistachio?

The ease of setting up the Application was amazing, just a few User groups in Entra ID, a click here, a click there and voila, you are done! Works as promised and provides a lot of insight to our end users, the reporting part of Pistachio is very detailed as well.

I highly suggest giving Pistachio a try, I'm sure it will amaze you as it did us ! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pistachio?

Nothing to complain, so far, so good!

Actually, one thing, not sure what voodoo magic Pistachio is doing, but sometimes it works too well! Even admins are fooled by their "Hard" phishing simulations, which at times can be frustrating :D Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Pistachio solving and how is that benefiting you?

Cybersecurity awareness, which should be top priority for any company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Pistachio?

You sync your Entra AD and it's done. The tool does everything, so there is no additional effort for the internal IT.

The hard phishing simulations with specific landing pages, based on the users profile and apps are really though to recognize.

New features are added regularly.

Implementation and support from the Pistachio team was amazing, shout out to Romy!

We onboarded all global users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pistachio?

In the beginning, it was a bit strange that as an admin we cannot configure anything. But we quickly learned to enjoy this fact.

If I could wish for one thing it would be language support for Japan. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Pistachio solving and how is that benefiting you?

We can prove that we train our staff on phishing awareness and decrease the likeliness of leaked credentials. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Pistachio?

- Connect Microsoft 365 and be ready to go immediately. Pistachio is very easy to implement.

- Integrates really well in general with Microsoft 365. Modern, seamless and integrated is how we want our IT infrastructure to be and Pistachio fits right in.

- Super easy to use for admins.

- The cybersecurity training runs completely on autopilot.

- Pistachio has been successful at making our employees considerably more aware and alert of phishing attempts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pistachio?

- A lack of customization options for reports and for security training. Reporting in Pistachio has gotten better over time (you can now download .csv files for instance), but it could still be improved further with little things such as custom timeframes for the Management Report or being able to select multiple departments (instead of all or one).

- Users are not flagged as "not active" in the platform if they don't complete training, likewise users who are active, report phishes and are exemplary are not highlighted in any way.

- We're not able to include training or guidelines that are more specific to our organisation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Pistachio solving and how is that benefiting you?

Like many other organisations and IT teams we are stuck between a rock and a hard place when it comes to organising cybersecurity awareness training. It's immensely important for training to be active but with the limited resources we have available we alone can't make security awareness something dynamic and constant.

This is where Pistachio comes in. Pistachio takes up no time from our IT team, and we use it to keep our employees on their toes as a complement to internal cybersecurity training. From my point of view Pistachio lets us have all bases covered when it comes to employee cybersecurity awareness and training. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
