Pi Datametrics Pros and Cons

I’ve been using PiDatametrics for over a year now, and what stands out to me is the depth of data it provides. The market(search volumes etc. with a 3 year past window) and tracking data are extensive, making it easy to monitor trends and keep an eye on competitors.

I love the ability to integrate business data like 'conversion rate' and 'average order value' into Pi reports. This helps see not just where our website ranks for a given set of keywords(a workspace for example) but also how those rankings translate into actual business impact.

The Marketing Intelligence (MI) reports are another highlight.

One of the biggest issues is the lack of clear differentiation between certain metrics. Some of them are so similar that it’s hard to tell their exact purpose, which can make analysing data confusing.

Not does PiDatametrics provide many layers to insights around our market and SEO opportunities which feed directly into our strategy, the support they provide is first class. Whenever we have a question about specific data sets or how to find certain pieces of analysis, someone is always on hand to answer promptly and help us get the info we need. Coupled with the monthly analyst sessions where we deepdive into a specific theme, market or idea, we're able to really drive the value for money and actionable insights from the platform. Even though the platform comes at a premium price, there a certain features, particualy new ones that come at an added price which would be good to be included in the full price you pay up front. Platforms like this are largely part of wider budget planning and we can't always go mid-year and ask for more money to access some of the great looking features. There are a lot of tools available, that sometimes its hard to find the tool that is needed for a particular job. Also, as tools are always being added its sometimes hard to keep track of name changes or where tools have been combined etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Pi is a very useful and easy tool to use when it comes to tracking keywords. You can easily create targeted keyword groups depending on your needs and also have the possibility to have an overview of your performance with different graphs. We've been utilising Pi Datametrics for rank tracking across our main brand and sub-brands. Pi provides an easy setup and we can see week-by-week the ranking changes for all of our keywords. The overview dashbaord is very useful in seeing Share of VOice, Visibility Index, estimated traffic etc. all on one screen. If I were to nitpick, I'd mention that the pricing seems to be quite steep, which might make it too expensive for smaller businesses or individuals.
