There's quite a few features which I find extremely useful in this tool, that I think Pi does better than most. The visibility index is particularly useful as you can segment by category to a very granular level and compare it with competitors. The interface is easy to work with and digest.

Another feature that's really useful is the estimted revenue performance. If there's one thing that really bothers me as an SEO is when clients or stakeholders ask for a report on how SEO is affecting the bottom line. Although it's only an estimation, and I don't think it's always on point, it's still super useful to have access to this feature and utilise it on reports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

One thing that appears to be majorly flawed is the Intelligent Copy feature. Despite what its name suggests, it's just not very intelligent at all (at least for now). It's easily manipulated, and it just doesn't seem to work very well for ecommerce landing pages. The point of it is to give you a detailed overview of the content of a selected page, but I find that the results have not been very helpful. You could literally stuff keywords in the 'Title' field, or write nonsense and include your target keyword and it will still mark it "safe". In its current state, it's just not fit for purpose. Pi is so much more than a tool to track rankings and find keywords. I love how seamelessy I can integrate it when doing competitors analysis or reviewing the SERP. The tool includes a lot of features, but they are all very easy and intuitive to use, which makes it even simpler to share custom reports and data with my team. Pi Datametrics has a complicated interface that isn’t very user-friendly. I also noticed big differences in search volumes for certain keywords compared to Ahrefs; Pi reported volumes 5-6 times higher, which really threw off my tracking. Pi Datametrics helps me analyse top fallers for our sites, from this I can improve content where keywords have been missed and therefore hopefully improve SERP rankings. I've had really helpful training fromt the Pi team themselves (Silvia) combined with how intuitive the tool is to use. I really like the SOV graphs as this is the only tool where we can access this data. The cannibalisation tool is also really useful. It's easy to create reports and draw insights from these in order to create to actions so that we can improve our SEO performance. Customer service are always to hand as well so if you have any questions then they'll quickly answer these for you. The academy is also really handy to get a grip with the tool.
