This software allows you to set the level and method of reminders that you would like to be sent out consistently saving time for receptionists as we no longer have to call about appointment reminders or manually send emails or alerts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only downside to this system is that not everyone appreciates the constant reminders, especially if they are still coming from other methods as well. Because I usually still call to remind clients of appointments, some have noted that they receive too many reminders. That is not a system error, though, just something to be aware for the individual you are encountering. There is also a certain demographic that frequents our hospital that doesn't understand how to use the software and though we do offer help in learning, some people are resistant. PetDesk is only as good as the veterinary practice on the other end of the software. If changes are made to meds or appointment scheduling in an exam visit, the staff may fail to note these changes in the app. This is a user issue, however, not a problem with the software.
