# Use of other Rates for different Types of Pay Has anyone implemented Rate_1, Rate_2, Rate_3, etc.. for different types of pay like shift differentials, or lead/charge pay, or premium pay? I want to have certain staff be able to clock at a higher rate in certain circumstances (working a night shift, or covering in a department other than their own for extra pay, or being in charge of an area/work unit for a week. Is that how to set it up or should different earnings codes be established? And how do you control who is allowed to clock under which special circumstance? # PAYCOM - ATS and Job Boards Working in the Paycom ATS: With other ATS's we have been able to remove a requisition from a job board while still working on the req and sorting/interviewing candidates. We can't seem to find a solution for doing this with Paycom. Our support team doesn't know how either and doesn't seem to understand the importance of being able to take a job ad down from job boards (reducing fees and unnecessary candidate applications leading to a poor experience) and continuing to work on the requisition. The system currently requires us to decline candidates and process a hire before the req can be removed from the job boards. # Device displaying "download needed: pgm6100-138-001" Hello, I'm a helpdesk support technician for a company that uses Paycom devices for their time clock entries. One of their devices is displaying "download needed: pgm6100-138-001" and not reporting a connection in the web portal. This device has been registered a while ago and this error just came up yesterday. We used to have an employee there that would handle most of the troubleshooting for the devices, but unfortunately no longer works there. I've tried manually rebooting the device and disconnecting and reconnecting it via ethernet to the network. When I try to ping the reserved IP for the two devices we have, one is working fine but the other is displaying the message on the screen. # What is your experience with the software? I would like to know if your experience (from choosing the system, to implementation, to actual usage) has been as good as ours.
