Top Rated Oxylabs Alternatives
It was a cheap solution, but low quality. It was very easy to implement SOCKS5 into Python. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Constantly erroring requests, the competition was actually 20% of the price, so a lot cheaper and with a much higher quality. Oxylabs was slower, had constant errors and was at the same time more expensive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the ease of using residential proxies and the way that you can use it in most websites. The speeds and quality of the IPs are the best I have ever seen. I really like the analityics in the control panel, it gives you all the control that you need to see how much you are expending and in what websites are you using your proxies. The price/quality I would say its a 10 of 10, very competitive princing compared to other providers that can't have the same speeds or IP quality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would like to see cheaper plans instead of the usual business plans that some reach close to 100$. Would be nice if it had more variety on the cheap end. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Oxylabs provides incredibly reliable proxy services. I’ve experienced minimal downtime and consistently fast speeds, making it ideal for my data collection needs.Their customer support team is always quick to respond and goes above and beyond to resolve any concerns I have. The tools provided by Oxylabs, like their Scraper API, are intuitive and have streamlined my workflows significantly. One area where Oxylabs could improve is the purchasing structure. Rather than allowing users to load a budget and choose services as needed, you're required to commit to specific packages upfront. This lack of flexibility can make it difficult to experiment or scale incrementally to find the optimal solution for your needs. For instance, if you're unsure which type of proxy will work best for your use case, you're forced to commit to a particular service rather than testing multiple options within a flexible spending plan. A more dynamic, pay-as-you-go approach would provide greater convenience and adaptability, especially for those with diverse or evolving requirements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- The core web unblocking proxy service functioned adequately for our needs during most of our one-year usage period
- Initial setup and integration was straightforward
- When working properly, their service provided reliable access to our target sites
- The proxy infrastructure generally performed as advertised during normal operations Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- Critical lack of billing transparency and notification systems for usage spikes
- Poor incident management when their unblocker failed on one of our target sites
- Technical team implemented "fixes" that caused 30x increase in traffic usage (from $50/day to $1,500/day) without notification
- Inflexible customer service, even when escalated to senior management (Head of Account Management)
- Refused to take responsibility for technical changes that directly caused excessive billing
- No proactive monitoring or alerts for abnormal usage patterns that could impact billing
- Demonstrated prioritization of revenue collection over customer relationship management
- Lack of accountability when their technical changes directly impacted customer costs
- Poor handling of billing disputes, even for long-term customers with significant annual contracts
Consider alternative proxy providers who offer better customer service, transparent billing practices, and professional issue resolution. While OxyLabs' technical infrastructure is functional, their business practices and customer service make them a risky choice for business-critical services, especially if you're concerned about unexpected billing issues or need responsive customer support. Oxylabs has proven to be a reliable and efficient proxy service, particularly when other well-known providers falter. Its intuitive interface makes it easy to use, even for those who are new to proxy technology.
The clean and well-organized interface further enhances the user experience. It's easy to navigate, configure, and monitor your proxy sessions.
Additionally, its pricing model is much simpler to comprehend.
In conclusion, Oxylabs is a strong contender in the proxy market. Its reliability, ease of use, and ability to overcome challenges make it a valuable tool for a wide range of online activities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The anti-fraud tools prevented me from accessing the account for a few hours a couple of times, but the problem was eventually resolved by their support team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I was initially unsure about which residential proxy service to choose, so I invested a lot of time in research before finally deciding on Oxylabs. Although they didn't offer a free trial at the time, I decided to take the plunge, and I’m glad I did. I've now been using Oxylabs for five months, and my experience has been outstanding. The platform's features work seamlessly with MoreLogin and mobile devices, making it adaptable to a variety of setups. Additionally, Oxylabs allows easy customization across multiple countries and cities worldwide, making location targeting straightforward. The setup process was incredibly simple, allowing me to integrate Oxylabs into my workflows quickly and without any hassle. The customer support has also been fantastic, especially in guiding me through navigating city options, which can be tricky for new users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Oxylabs rates are abit high and the setting up to a third party tool like Morelogin is not easy maybe there should be videos tutorials on how to do it for first time users Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Oxylabs has some of the best speeds in the industry and has reliable uptimes which can easily support enterprise level organizations need for thousands of requests per second. With that said I will say that the service does have it's drawbacks. It can take a significant amount of time to get new websites whitelisted to use whereas other providers do not have these restrictions in place. Integration was easy but we did have some glitches with the proxy password setup. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The fact that it can take a significant amount of time to get new websites whitelisted to use whereas other providers don't have these restrictions it can be frustrating knowing that precious development time is being wasted. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have been using Oxylabs for a while, and I am thoroughly impressed with their services. Their Residential Proxies are reliable and provide a great balance of speed and anonymity. The ability to access geo-restricted content with ease has made my tasks much more efficient.
The customer service is top-notch as well! Any queries or issues I had were handled promptly and professionally, which speaks volumes about their commitment to their clients. Additionally, their dedicated datacenter IPs are incredibly fast and reliable, making it easy to scale operations without worrying about downtime.
I highly recommend Oxylabs for anyone in need of robust proxy solutions, whether you're a large enterprise or a smaller operation like mine. They provide the flexibility, reliability, and speed you need to get the job done. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While Oxylabs offers excellent services, I feel that the pricing can be a bit high for smaller businesses. It would be great to see more flexible pricing plans tailored for startups or small-scale users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I'm here to just mention that I had a very good experience with their support. They spent so much time helping me solve a problem that I mistakenly created. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
So far nothing. Probably, they can provide a bit cheaper prices even though the current prices are okay. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It was easy to create an account and get started. I really like that your data never expire, and the 1GB of pay-as-you-go data I bought last year but never use was still available for me to use. I also enjoy being able to select exactly what country I want my requests coming from. All I had to do was put the generated proxy into my program and it worked, no further setup required! They have the biggest proxy pool out of any proxy service I've seen, so I've experienced very little bans while scraping, turning the ~12 hour job into just 1 hour! Something that I wish was mentioned before was the fact that pay-as-you-go plans are nonrefundible, and they restrict a large pool of websites (streaming sites and sites like Netflix, etc. won't work). Customer support tries to help, but ultimately they aren't very knowledgable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I've been using Oxlabs for about a month and I am very satisfied with their residential proxies.
I tried various other companies, but most of their proxies were detected as proxies, while the proxies at Oxylabs were not recognized as proxies by my target.
Once I had a question and contacted support via Discord and got a fast and friendly reply.
What else I like about their service is the new feature where you can create "Limits and Spendings", meaning you can create additional sub-users and set a limit on how much GBs they can spend. This enables me to assign different amount of GBs to my clients whithout them having to care about proxies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
After singup, you get a lot of emails e.g. from the "Strategic Partnerships" person asking for the purpose. It becomes annoying, the third email was "Hey, just floating this message on the top of your inbox in case you missed it."
Oxylabs is not the cheapest provider on the market, other providers offer smaller amount of GBs. I did not need all of my GBs and they just expired after a month. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
