What do you like best about Osmos?

The fact that you can teach a team of analysts to do work that you would normally have to use use expesive engineering resources for. Osmos lets us take complex files and tranform them into our format without any code. The functionality is extremely similar to Excel, so most analysts can learn it quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Osmos?

No complaints. Osmos has been highly responsive to our organizations needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Osmos solving and how is that benefiting you?

We receive client data in various formats, but need to be able to quickly tranform it into our standard input. Now we can take files we were not able to ingest before and get it into the system quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Osmos?

We needed a solution to improve end-to-end planning forecasting capabilities, and shortage detection, along with the efficiency of resources by building a production plan considering restrictions and the ability to see simulated scenarios with long-term visibility. Before OSMOS supplier delivery promises were sent in various forms to our material planners, at our factories. This information was generally not uploaded to SAP, because it is a time-consuming manual task for material planners, so they typically just used the data to inform their short-term constraints. OSMOS has made our team's life much easier and now the delivery promise is directly uploaded in SAP and the Material planner has long-term visibility. OSMOS has a great user-friendly interface for skilled and unskilled users. One thing I really like about OSMOS is their team who is always available to support whenever required and have been open to feedback. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Osmos?

The next thing I would like to see in OSMOS is a good Dashboard that will give me an overview of the current status and ease of pulling out the report Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Osmos solving and how is that benefiting you?

We needed a solution to get, supplier delivery promise upload to SAP. Before OSMOS, we were limited to advanced shipping notifications, which cover material in transit, but there was no further visibility. OSMOS has made our life easier and now we have delivery promises uploaded in SAP and this gives long-term visibility to Material Planner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is easy to use as it integrates custom APIs in order to directly ingest clean data into your laptop. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Osmos?

We only encountered issues during implementation and this is because our engineer was unwell and so could not read the entire instructions but this was solved in seconds by the customer support team and we were able to run it same day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Osmos solving and how is that benefiting you?

It enambes us to achieve quality data by elimination of human errors

Data preparation was initially an issue due to data import struggles and time consumption but this was solved once we started using Osmos.

Initailly it was difficult to translate long tail sources of data but use of Osmos helped with its integration usinf the AI automation of most os the work.

It has really helped with improved customer satisfaction as it speeds up the activation of our data ingestion. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Osmos?

Osmos has taken a manual process that we were completing in Excel and made it so much easier and more accurate for our team to import data. I love that it allows for our team to incorporate similar formula logic that they're currently using to achieve better results, and flag errors before they happen. It's allowed us to provide better results for our clients. They have been a great partner to us, are awesome to work with, and are constantly evolving their product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Osmos?

I would love to see more updates in the future on certain features but they are always incredibly receptive to that feedback! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Osmos solving and how is that benefiting you?

We currently manage our data preprocessing manually and external to our application, which results in too many custom solutions and time wasted by our team of analysts. It saves us time, standardizes our process to be scalable, and allows us to onboard clients faster by templatizing our preprocessing rules with uploaders and pipelines. What do you like best about Osmos?

The people are fantastic. Anytime our team has a question, their team is lightning speed to respond. They never leave us hanging and clearly care about our success. The platform itself has been very easy to use, has a sleek interface, and was easy for us to get up and running. The main folks from our side do not have any ETL experience, yet they were able to get their feet under them thanks to the Osmos UI/UX. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Osmos?

Some formulas don't mimic Excel, which is what our team is most familiar with. So it takes us a minute and some help to get the formula up that we need. But the team is very quick to help with this translation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Osmos solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have to deal with extremely unstandardized data formats that we need to create a lot of structure around. This means very complex rules for us, that are multi-multi-multi-conditional. And a lot of the data we recieve has messed up formatting for things like dates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Osmos?

Osmos has the best customer support representatives. They are always willing to help trouboleshoot problems with you to get them fixed as quickly as possible. Their engineering team has been nothing short of outstanding when it comes to complex logic and helping find the best solution for us. I can already tell that this will be a long lasting work relationship! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Osmos?

The one thing I woud say is least helpful about Osmos is that it seems their formula logic has slight differences then I am used to in excel. So it becomes trial and error when matching Osmos formulas to excel formulas. But I know that it is a work in progress and eventually this will be more smooth! Otherwise no complaints! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Osmos solving and how is that benefiting you?

Osmos is solving a very large issue of ours where DataBrew cannot handle multipulls from various fields but Osmos can and it is making data cleanup and ingestion much simiplier and faster. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Osmos?

There are a few use cases that we need to handle on our end, but overall, it has been so easy to onboard our clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Osmos solving and how is that benefiting you?

We spent a lot of development time creating and updating ETLs for our data import processes. Onboarding took a long time. Osmos has helped free our development team to improve our products and allows our clients to update their own data files. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Osmos?

The platform has allowed us to expand beyond our initial use cases of incorrectly formatted data. We're how exploring how Osmos can fill product gaps or edge cases in our workflows. Their support for cloud functions and their new API provide powerful and flexible creative solutions. Their team has also been great at incorporating feedback for additional features and support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Osmos?

Nothing - they have a great product and they have a committment to expanding what they can support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Osmos solving and how is that benefiting you?

Our most pressing issue is to have data ingested in the format we need that customers can't supply. However, we're developing cases where the customer can't supply data, but it's in another system. By using Osmos, we're able to get all the required data and in a format that our product needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Osmos?

So intuitive to use. With little training and support I was able to ingest data from some of our legacy systems to our new system using this tool. The data mapping was clear and concise and made the move easy and the data accurate. It was a joy to use Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Osmos?

Nothing really. The interface was easy to use. The UI was good but took some poking around to find what I was looking for but once I spent some time in the tool I learned the sytle and was able to move forward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Osmos solving and how is that benefiting you?

We needed to migrate data from legacy systems to an newly developed system and needed a tool to help us easily move the data without paying expensive data scientists. This was done with limited knowledge. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Osmos?

Osmos is a fantastic tool that enables us to routinely load employee demographic data from various third parties. As an insurance benefits broker and a technology company, Decisely has to load data from hundreds of external systems. We had a few options: build a custom import code for the data we import regularly or have our data team manually transform the data using Excel into our existing import formats. Neither option was great. Osmos solved this problem completely. Even our newest users can use the Osmos uploader UI with little to no training. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Osmos?

Nothing major to complain about. Initially, we ran into a few implementation roadblocks, primarily due to the nature of our business. The Osmos team (Naresh, Sandy, and others) helped us work through those issues by helping us make the most of the existing Osmos features and even by building additional features to address our business needs. In fact, they invited me to participate in the design discussion, which was super helpful! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Osmos solving and how is that benefiting you?

Osmos streamlines our employee data imports from previously unknown data sources. We no longer have to manually massage the data before we load it into Decisely quoting and benefits administration platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
