OnSecurity Pros and Cons

We stumbled across OnSecurity whilst looking for a pen-test supplier during the early days of incident.io, and they did an exceptional job of testing our app, providing feedback in real-time and wrapping up the process with a professional report. As we've grown, they've kept pace with our business and continue providing assurance on our security posture.

What sets them apart is how we work with them: the combination of shared Slack channels and their portal make for a pretty joyous experience.

There are several things we like about the OnSecurity service - it is easy to book/schedule the PEN test, the test execution is very transparent with results/suggestions being available to review within their testing portal, and we the report is comprehensive allowing us to fix any issues that have been raised. Further, they regularly send out newsletters, issue blog posts, or LinkedIn post that highlight and educate Cyber Security - so we are actively learning and improving in this area. Real-time updates, and interactivity. These two things made it a valuable learning experience, and one with immediate impact on the way we approach things. The findings in the report were scored in a very reasonable way. This helps our customers understand exactly what could be the possible impact of some of the findings. Friendly staff, qualified pen testers and a great user portal that makes scheduling pen tests streamlined and hassle-free.
