In addition, there are nice add-ons such as the EasyPost app that allow you to process shipping from Odoo, saving a lot of time. Payment connections with Stripe or Authorize.net make processing transactions a breeze. You can send a quote to a customer with the Discuss app functionality without having to leave the quotation or use an external email. With the Website app, the customer can click the link in the email to find the quote on your website and pay it online, mitigating some PCI compliance risks. When the order is placed, the inventory item rules are followed to create the correct workflow. This may be a Request for Quote from your vendor for a drop-shipment or a regular shipment for stock. Refunds are difficult to process and required training by our accounting department in order to understand the required steps. Even though there are payment acquirer connections, refunds are not part of that integration. So the refund must be processed through the payment acquirer and then also in odoo.
