Simple to use platform for testing, very intuitive! Also easy to interpret test results and the student-progress windows are in student-friendly language and view Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some of the test format (particularly the reading passages and style of test questioning, need updating. Also, I would very much like to see a linking document for the PSAT 8/9 Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

nothing this test is or at least should be illegal Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
everything you do not get to see how many questions there are the test theam is dislot and clould Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love how the NWEA suite allows us as educators to assess our students using an interface they can quickly become familiar with. It also allows us to monitor the exam and it is all online Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The student-facing interface is easy to use, but the admin site can take time to learn. luckily, there are a ton of resources for training Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The questions get harder if the student gets the correct and easier if they are incorrect. So, students do not become as frustrated taking the test. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It has a lot of connection issues. It is hard to navigate when a student stops and has to restart the test. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like absolutely nothing about this ridiculous program. It's inconvenient, slow, and terribly ugly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- They force you to change your resolution, which messes up the sizing and the font for everything and makes it blurry and impossible to read. Some devices don't even allow the user to change the resolution. And on a tablet, it won't let you exit out of the app.
- there's always some sort of glitch when people are trying to get in, so it takes the class an hour to try to get in and 8 minutes to actually do the test.
-The program doesn't even let you see the number of questions there are. It won't let you go back to check on or review previous questions either. THIS IS RIDICULOUS, CONSIDERING EVEN THE SHSAT AND THE STATE EXAMS LET YOU GO BACK ON QUESTIONS.
- It is a pain in the arse and extremely infuriating for students and teachers to use, especially if on a school iPad or chrome book.
- JUST USE PUPILPATH INSTEAD, ITS MUCH FASTER, IT LETS YOU GO BACK TO PREVIOUS QUESTIONS, AND IT DOESN'T RUN ON AN IRKSOME POP-UP THAT FORCES YOU TO CHANGE YOUR RESOLUTION. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I understand that the questions are adaptive, which is neat, but aside from that it seems like a pretty standard diagnostic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Issue after issue with trying to run this test on a Chromebook. Get ready for every single one of your students to have a resolution error message. Make sure all of your teachers are familiar with how to adjust resolution on a Chromebook, because that's only the first of many issues you will encounter. I hope that your school has an amazing tech support team, one person won't be enough.
If your school assigns a Chromebook to each student like mine does, then good luck is all I can say. You're not going to like this test. If your students mostly have their own PCs, then it should be somewhat smoother. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love how the data is broken down into strands. For instance the Reading test will tell me how my students did with nonfiction type reading, with vocabulary, and with fiction reading. The tests adapts to the student unlike the other standardized tests we give. This is so critical for my elementary students. There is a huge achievement gap amongst my students, but this test pushes them only as hard as they are able to handle. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only thing I don't like is the way the test appears on the screen can be hard to read especially for the 2nd and third graders that are used to a larger font. The recommended computer settings keep the font pretty small. You can not change that once you begin the test. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I liked the quick feedback from the test, but I really knew most of the information already. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I was not fond of all the testing. Our system had children take the test 3 times a year so by the time they leave 5th grade at least 15 times plus in kindergarten 2 times. Too much testing and a waste of valuable teaching time taken away with this test. Way too much time reviewing results to place children in certain areas for individual instruction and then planning all of this out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
