Salma has an accounting background as a former controller so she understands the needs of the finance team when building Sage Intacct. Most developers only have a programming background and cannot resolve the fundamental accounting issues or sometimes miss the bigger picture. Salma is able to strip it down to how do we want the accounting entry or process to look like and work backwards to make the system work for the team instead of the team figuring how to change the current accounting processes to fit into how the system works. Sometimes it is not possible to get Sage Intacct to be perfectly aligned with the company processes but Salma will layout the various workarounds. We were trying to move our account from another company to NuvemXP for Sage Intacct support because our contact (Salma K.) has moved to NuvemXP. Salma is extermely knowledgable in Sage Intacct and everytime we have a difficult problem to resolve, she is able to deliver. For example, our industry has a complex revenue recognition and billing cycle but she was able to help us create an order entry process so we can have the system do the work for us instead of using an excel to track all the deferred revenue and revenue recognition.
