What do you like best about NotificationAPI?

I'm kinda lazy and the reason I became a software developer is to make shortcuts and gestures to make my interaction with phones and PC as little as possible like most apps you need a notification so the user sees it working (some actually need to see something to believe in it) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NotificationAPI?

there is nothing to dislike about it

it's easy to use

minimal and cute (believe me )

What do you like best about NotificationAPI?

For years our company had batched notifications and granular settings on our roadmap. We expiremented with several competitors and started homebrewing our own based on kafka queues. As part of my quarterly ritual of googleing to see if anyone else solved it by now I came across NotificationAPI.

After an introduction to the service by Sahand and his team we quickly started implementing their software, which was a breeze, and became one of he first to use their batching feature. Any feedback was addressed fast and accuratly and customer support was stellar.

As a small to mid-sized business I'd recommend their service to anyone looking for a well-rounded notification saas with great features and awesome support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NotificationAPI?

No real downsides other than the speed of reviewing logs, which I believe has been worked on since I last used the feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is NotificationAPI solving and how is that benefiting you?

NotificationAPI handles batching and Notification preferences for us. Additionally the option of designing mails is simple enough that our content team now designs and writes the emails themselves without the for tech support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NotificationAPI?

While NotificationAPI offers a generous free plan suitable for small-scale projects, the paid plans start at $250 per month, which might be a consideration for smaller teams or startups. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is NotificationAPI solving and how is that benefiting you?

As a software developer working on a B2B SaaS platform, I utilize NotificationAPI to enhance user engagement and communication. Specifically, I employ it to send multi-channel notifications—such as email, SMS, and in-app alerts—to inform users about important events, updates, and reminders within our application. This integration ensures that our users receive timely and relevant information, thereby improving their overall experience with our product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about NotificationAPI?

The best part about NotificationAPI is the ease of setup, it was impressively straightfoward, taking it less than five minutes. Beyond installing the package in your web project, no additional setup is required.

It also supports multiple communication channels, including email, SMS, and in-app notifications, with a drag-and-drop interface for editing each notification. This eliminates the need for boilerplate code.

The free plan is also generous, making it an excellent choice for small-scale projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NotificationAPI?

There isn't really anything i dislike about it right now. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is NotificationAPI solving and how is that benefiting you?

It helped me implement the sms and email notification feature without having the need to write all the boilerplate code myself such as creating an api endpoint for sending notifications, configuring smtp setting in a transporter, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The filter options are great. Searching for notifications makes testing go faster. Customer Support is fast to respond and address concerns. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NotificationAPI?

This is minor but sometimes I have to wait a bit longer than I did with say mailtrap for notifications to come through. Sometimes I have to refresh a bunch or clear my cache.
