Their backup system takes forever to backup and sometimes freezes. They once told me it could take days for the backup to work. If it weren't for the backup system, I would recommend this hosting platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Nexcess was once an outstanding hosting company. I became a customer in 2017 and moved many of our agency client sites and owned/operated properties over to the hosting provider. In 2019, Nexcess was acquired by Liquid Web. I am not sure if that is when the changes began, but in recent months it has become tremendously apparent to me that the customer support is completely outsourced and the level of care offered to customers is minimal at best. Nexcess is one of the best hosting services in the market. Their support was what impressed me the most. Nexcess always responds within some hours. I have never experienced a single issue from their side 100% uptime and when I have presented an from my end the attention, speed and satisfactions it's guaranted Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Their technical support staff is available 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. If their initial technician is unable to resolve your issue, they quickly escalate it to their tier 2 support staff and keep you up to date. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Working with Nexcess has been excellent. If ever there is a problem, support is readily available and very knowledgeable. I've not run into any situation yet that they have not been of great assistance. We have switched from Magento to WordPress with no issues. We've grown via WordPress and had to change plans, and the transition went perfectly smooth. I have nothing but good things to say about Nexcess and their support team. We are an agency, and we have specific needs and always in need of premium support. We came in contact with Nexcess to move our sites on Nexcess because we needed to scale our agency and to relieve some work from our support department.
We had a call with the sales team stated our needs we were pleased with the things we heard so we choose to do the leap of faith.
We aggreed to migrate to Nexcess 10 Wordpress sites and 15 Woocommerce sites. The time needed for that operation was told us from Nexcess was max 1 month... in theory...
The migration took 3 months and we did our own most of the work... We had book slots and do again and again sync with live sites... It was a nightmare.
Besides that we had tremendous problem with the support. We needed professional help and not some canned responses from chat.
And lastly the day that we finally had it all we had all of our sites completely down for several hours because there was an issue from Nexcess site, some update caused a major blackout and we were offline almost one day.
That incident damaged our reputation as an agency. What should we tell to our clients that are reliying on us their online businesses?

I have used Nexcess for some time now 6 years or more. Since the changes (purchased by Liquid Web), there have been some issues, however I think when you consider how many sites they host and how hard it is to find competent help, that they do a great job. Sure it can sometimes take time for them to get back to you, but that's not common. Sometimes you may get the wrong answer, but that can happen anywhere. Take the last year, how many people have thought, " I will just download Magento and setup a store". Imagine how hard it is for them to support that. The number of questions and issues must be sizable. Be patient and remember they are only human. I am very happy with them in every respect. Nobodies perfect. I see a lot of people compaining but really its not justified, these guys are under a lot of stress in the last year as we all are. Be kind. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
This is a tough one, I dislike that when I can't figure something out they may take a few hours to get back to me with an answer. I have nothing bad to say about them, any issues are usually my own doing or lack of knowledge or understanding of the problem and the buck stops with me. Do I expect them to be able to help when I am stumped (they usually always do)? Their systems are very good, the security and Megento knowledge they have and their control panel, I think, are awesome.
