What do you like best about NetDocuments?

I like the ability to easily load multiple documents to NetDocs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetDocuments?

I do not like trying to search for documents. Sometimes random things will pull and other times I can't get NetDocs to find the documents I need. It is not conducive to quickly finding a document to open and use, move or download. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about NetDocuments?

It's helpful to have all documents and files available in the cloud so everyone can access from anywhere. Also saves our server storage space. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetDocuments?

All documents have to be uploaded individually and the process took a very long time. The process of looking up specific matter numbers is irritating. I find I'm much more efficient at work when I'm using windows explorer. Users are unable to have multiple file exploration windows open and the constant clicking back and forth between files is incredibly annoying. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about NetDocuments?

Moving to a cloud-based document management system has been extremely useful for remote or mobile workers, plus the integration with the the Office Online suite and Apple/Android app support makes a very versatile and powerful solution - the document versioning is a great feature. What do you dislike about NetDocuments?

We moved NetDocs over to Chrome recently, and there were several bugs that caused frustration amongst the team at work that I had to resolve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about NetDocuments?

I like that you can access the platform from really everywhere with any computer but just with your login information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetDocuments?

Sometimes the system is not reliable - it does not save the documents and/or get saved somewhere else. Also, it is hard to create new folders in the system and there are only few ways of organizing the documents. It would be nice to have a way to preview the documents without opening them. What do you like best about NetDocuments?

I like that this helps eliminate paper waste by placing all documents into an electronic form and sorting it into subject folders so that users may somewhat easily find the documents in the specific matter needed. I also like that you can save a document or attachment from an email and save it directly to Net Docs with an add in through outlook. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetDocuments?

ND needs more subfolders so that it is easier to specify a particular type of document or pleading. As it currently stands, there are just general/broad subject folders to place your particular document in. There is also not a calendar feature or a way to document deadlines or timelines for specific projects in a particular matter. It needs to be more like Time Matters in that way. What do you like best about NetDocuments?

NetDocs is the program I use the most as a legal professional. It allows me to sort and save emails, Word documents, Power Point Presentations, Excel spreadsheets, PDFs, photographs and more in an easily accessible and searchable database. I like being able to search by docket number and by client name. NetDocs is integrated with Outlook for easy saving. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetDocuments?

The search feature for retrieving files or documents can be slow or hard to filter to get the desired results. There are also occasional glitches where a document says it's saved and checked in, but the recent changes to the document either don't save at all, or don't show up until hours later. Another downside is that it won't save zip files. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about NetDocuments?

I like the intuitive feature that NetDocs has when integrated with Outlook. It allows you to save emails with or without attachments and then will display whether you have already saved that particular email or document. Also, after saving documents to the same workspace multiple times, NetDocs begins to pick up on keywords and suggests the appropriate workspace to save your email to. This is a time-saver! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetDocuments?

I'm not a fan of the user interface. I wish it would be more intuitive to create subfolders and see them when you first open up the DMS. Also, I frequently use the "recent documents" list and would like it to show more than 40 documents at a time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
