Slow Startup. Unable to handle different monitor resolutions. Poor Interface. Consume more RAM compared to other IDEs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

NetBeans is perfectly suited as an entry level IDE for Java or PHP, when most of your time should be spent learning how to code instead of learning how to use the IDE.
Thanks to its out-of-the-box autocomplete, file navigation and style hints, as well as integration with most VCSs, it really helps focusing on what matters most.
Its extra features, including debugger integration, database connectors and a broad (yet not really easy to setup) plugin library, qualify it as one of the most complete IDEs, free of charge. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Unfortunately NetBeans' user interface has not been kept up-to-date, and as the project size increases (or the number of concurrent projects does) it struggles a bit with its memory consumption and increased loading time.
The plugin system is also far from accessible in terms of tailoring the IDE to some of your advanced needs as a developer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
