Although Netbeans is not the first option for occupational development, it is ideal for education because of its simple and detailed construction. the way he organizes and classifies the packages is a great starting point. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

For various Java project i used Eclipse and NetBeans but between then i think NetBeans is far better than Ecilpse . It is a very good editor and faster than Eclipse .
Also it supports Maven. It is open source also . Search functions is very powerful and quickly find the code . It has a great productive features .

It has some memory issue and slow start up .
Also it is very in speed . It will be better if it comes with better themes .

NetBeans IDE allows me develop easily and faster web applications, mobile, and as well as HTML5 applications by using HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. It aslo has great support to PHP, C,C++ program writers. Best thing is open source free to use and got worldwide community support. Few things i Dont like in Net Beans are The debugger in Net beans is too slow. Single view architecture. No work space feature compared to eclipse.Dose not support JAVA9 and some of the latest features.Size of the Setup is heavy where as eclipse is light weight. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The best part is the number of options it offers, giving you absolute freedom to program to the user's liking with its great versatility. Its User Interface is effective as compared to Eclipse which has a cluttered User Interface .

GUI Builder is the best . The drag and drop feature of NetBeans has led my front-end development time to be too fast .

Quite a few things that I don't like in NetBeans are -
No workspace feature compared to eclipse.
Loading time is too slow for the IDE . This actually wastes my time a lot .
The black theme is not properly implemented .
Its now an old IDE. So no new features will be introduced .
Dose not support JAVA9. It should support the latest features .

These are the characteristics of this powerful IDE, which I liked most tool:
* It is an IDE that adapts to several languages Multi-platform: The code that is written in java is read by an interpreter, so your program will walk on any platform.
* Automatic memory management. (for those who come from C / C ++). Memory management is done automatically and using the garbage collector.
* It's free!.
* Develop dynamic web applications.

Unfortunately there have been the characteristics of this tool that I have not liked, or in my opinion, I do not tolerate this IDE:
- Its slowness when executing applications (although it has improved over time, in the case of languages compiled as JAVA the IDE is sometimes locked)
- Requires an interpreter.
- Some implementations and libraries may have a sophisticated code.
- A bad implementation of a program in java, can result in something very slow.
