Most of the developers think, Netbeans is just a java IDE, but it’s not true. It is also an IDE for different languages like PHP, Javascript, JavaFX,C/C++ etc. It helps the developer to develop their product more efficiently and quickly. One of the best thing, I like for Netbeans is, it is open-source, also the source of Netbeans IDE and Netbeans platform is available to anyone to reuse under terms and policy. The thing which every developer hates, debugging. Yes, debugging in netbeans is quite slow compared to other IDE, the other thing which requires improvement is, memory usage. It takes large memory compared to other lighter IDEs, though it is very efficient platform for development, still it requires improvement for memory usage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Netbeans is good to work with Open source servers and Oracle technologies.
The New Project - archetype support is good when compared to Eclipse. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The IDE is not great when you use the Commercial servers like Weblogic/Websphere. It tends to become slow if the code base is huge. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
net beans is very easy to use and flexible and it has auto format feature and coding standard.
intelligence feature is very good.package and API are easy to install. with NetBeans java code is very useful and reliable.it has a beautiful interface. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
sometimes it takes time to open so it goes slow down and hangs while the huge code of java Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Very logical and easy to use Projects system that will get you started very fast, and will keep your websites as a separate project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It has some issues with parsing files that are included more then once in the Project, and it can crash during that process. Sometimes, it can use too much memory. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Strong support for Java including the Designer for JavaFX/FXML. Good PHP support. I like that the IDE is put out by the same company that authors Java. It provides some assurance that the IDE will be aware of the latest features language features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I'm doing more with JavaScript now, and I found other IDEs better suited for the language and ecosystem. The configuration options are a little hard to contend with at times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I didn't saw any bad things in netbeans but ine thing should we consider it is very heavy application so its take more time to open Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is the best platform for using java programs, and its interface is very interactive. We can easily use NetBeans, While we create any class then it automatically creates its structure. It saves a lot of time in development.
First thing I like syntax checking which saves a lot of time of code inspection for finding errors. Also, it provides a lot of shortcuts to jump which we usually do while coding and the most interesting thing is its auto-detection of references in the code, it makes our understanding to code very fast and efficient. If you throw the learning curve of an IDE on top of learning how to program, it can be quite
frustrating. Further, features and shortcuts for experienced programmers often hide
crucial but mundane details of a language. Details should not be overlooked when
learning a new language. Using an IDE may hamper the learning of a new language. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Netbeans is great for website development, and easily runs the file you are working on with a click. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not the greatest user interface in the world, but I’ve seen worse. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is a free product like Eclipse and it is heavily supported by Oracle which makes is quite reliable. Also, Netbeans brought support for Java 8 much before Eclipse and this might happen for future Java versions as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The community activity for NetBeans is much less when compared to Eclipse.
Also, since it has been acquired by Oracle, there is a big chance that it might lose its major backing if oracle abandons the project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The background integration and compilation that allows for functions to be suggested as soon as any header file/ class file is included. Suggestions for variables are quick and precise. The ability to compress function definitions of multiple lines, into one line is pretty cool. makes the code look simple and easier to understand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
If we are using a function , the arguments that it takes are not immediately put in. (One of the things visual studio takes an edge). We have to wait till build to see if a function had any lack of arguments. The while on black gets pretty dull after a while. More colouring and fonts, like some used on atom can make the coding a bit more fun. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
