It Consumes Lots of memory space and Takes lot of time to load which makes it little slow and more memory consuming as compared to other IDE's. Web apps support is lacking. Also it should improve its Integration which 3rd party applications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is one of the most complete IDE that I have used, it has a complete interface and it is a multiplatform application, it is also free, it has a complement repository that will help you download what you need for the language with which you go to work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is a little slow to start it, since it uses the Java virtual machine, however, that does not stop it since you can do everything with it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Simplifies the development of applications for Java, with support for the creation of service-oriented applications, includes XML tools, allows you to create Web applications with PHP, it's free, open source and multiplatform. This platform offers common reusable services for desktop applications, allowing developers to focus on the logic of their applications. Among its features, include: management of the user interface (menus and toolbars); user configuration management; storage management; window management; assistant frame; Netbeans visual library; and integrated development tools, it's great.
It has many advantages among which are:
1. Multi-platform language: The code that is written in java is read by an interpreter, so your program will be on any platform.
2. Automatic memory management. (for those who come from C / C ++). Memory management is done automatically and using the garbage collector.
3. It's free!
4. Develop dynamic web applications.
5. Develop server applications for online forums, warehouses, surveys, HTML forms processing and much more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Disadvantages
1. Because of its slowness when executing applications (although it has improved over time)
2. Requires an interpreter.
3. Some implementations and libraries may have sophisticated code.
4. A bad implementation of a program in java, can result in something very slow.
5. Some tools have an additional cost Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Excellent platform to use Java. It has many functions performed automatically reducing the time of code development. It has many keyboard shortcuts that are very useful. allows to search for specific words throughout our code, thus reducing the time to detect any error. It allows to visualize the logs immediately. It's a slow thing to start. The load on the CPU is too high, especially when working with relatively large projects. Is difficult to learn to program in, is made for professionals and not for novices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's easy to setup and use it to create, manage and deply projects both online and offline. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
An old Interface and usability, a great engine (the same of Eclipse for Java and more) but unused for PHP programming. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Netbeans is an excellent IDE for languages like C++ and Java. I have used Netbeans during my graduate studies to develop several projects. It is considered one of the best IDEs and widely used by many industries. Java swing is one of the best things to do in Netbeans where you can design your own GUI interface with many features available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One of the things I don't like about Netbeans is its GUI interface. The design is complex and hard to find many options as compared to Eclipse IDE. Otherwise, its an excellent product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is good for beginners. I used Netbeans for my university projects. It helped to fast coding. Because, it will auto generate lot of coding parts when coding. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing special. To loading take a several minutes. It takes large memory space. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

NetBeans is a great IDE that allows the development of various programming languages such as JAVA, PHP, C/C++, or JavaScript, but its main programming language is JAVA. It is considerably lighter and less scattered than other IDEs with the same purpose. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is quite limited when it comes to programming languages. If you use it for JAVA, very well, but if not, its use is quite limited, since it does not have additional plugins like other IDEs such as Eclipse, for example. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
