Incredible IDE for programming in JAVA, it perfectly and clearly shows compilation errors during execution. Another thing it stands out for compared to others is debugging and running test cases, it has numerous options that help reduce work time. The interface and work environment are customizable to your liking, for example, in my case, I prefer to program with the dark mode instead of light. Autocomplete is another option that helps you save time, as well as keyboard shortcuts that you can easily create yourself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes when you perform an option, such as running a method or debugging, the program takes a while to respond, which becomes a bit annoying. Otherwise, I don't find anything negative about NetBeans. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Ready made integrations for Git and Maven. Given its remote deployment features, this makes the cycle of edit-compile-deploy-debug-tune much more efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
For large projects, it takes a long time to load. Even though the recommendation is "disable plugins that you are not using", I feel that NetBeans should be able to automatically determine that and not load LRU plugins and projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is a simple programming environment to use.
It can be easily used by new users.
The user interface is simple to understand.
It integrates an interface constructor that facilitates the development of java applications that have a graphical user interface. With just take and drop you can build good graphical interfaces.

It is a somewhat basic programming environment and is somewhat slow in its execution.
Its syntax highlighting is not the most colorful, however it works. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Its one of the top IDEs for coders and developers and is among the tools that provides rich support for all the languages making it easy for developers to code without much hassle. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Its UI and UX can be much better. Like white background window does not provide a good feel to the end user. Also it takes much time to get loaded .that can be improved to a much better level providing a better feel. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Netbeans has a really easy interface so it's perfect for beginners in comparison to eclipse for example.
Debugging is very easy and simple to do which I think is a great advantage. The interface is one of the things that I like the most, very familiar, you find things very fast even it's your first time using Netbeans.
It shows compilation errors during the programs. Has utility for many add-ons to generate web services. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Its biggest con is the consumption of system resources because it does not work for old computers.
It is developed for people who are already professionals and not beginners because the learning curve is wide. Doesn't handle different monitor resolutions well Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It supports multiple programming languages, so you can code frontend code and backend code in the same app. There's no need to switch to other apps or go to the console to execute things. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Main problem is its performance, JAVA IDEs are great but heavy and slow on older machines, and sometimes you'll feel like editing files is slow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What i like best on NetBeans is that you can use it for several purposes. You can use it for desktop applications, for creating websites, create local servers and many other things! The best part is that all of these are possible in the same program, wich saves you a lot of time! And also the autocomplete is great, very usefull! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The thing that i dislike is that it takes a lot of space of RAM to use the program, wich makes the PC a little slower. But the new app is in fact better, so the problem is basicly solved. Another thing that isn't so great is that the files that were created by the oldest version, aren't very compatible with the new version of NetBeans, so is best for you to star working with the most recent version to make sure you don't have this problem.
