I like two things mainly, the way you can create GUIs, and the way it works for Java, is my main IDE when I'm working with Java.

What do you dislike about NetBeans?

Netbeans doesn't really have a user-friendly interfance as it is quite messy and hard to adjust. So far I think Visual Studio has a better user-interface compared to netbeans. But still there is a lot of features netbeans can support than visual studio. I highly recommend the developers to improve the user-interface. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about NetBeans?

To begin with, I consider that Beans is a very dynamic and intuitive platform for those that are generally seen in university environments.

For example, in my university it is what we use as a programming platform in the initial levels. So it is very useful and helps for new students. Especially when the majority at the beginning do not have any experience with this type of programs.

Regarding the diversity of programs that Beans runs, I can say that it is very varied since it is very flexible when it comes to programming. That's why I think it has good Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetBeans?

I do not like it, because visually it does not have an updated, technological appeal or that refers to what the tool can do.

That is, if I had a cleaner interface, with better colors and design, this could cause programmers to be more interested in this tool. Since at the time of programming sometimes we give preference to a program where it makes us feel that we are professionals when using it, but unfortunately it only makes us feel like beginners.

As for some features, such as speed in code processing, software start, Debug, run etc, they can be improved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering NetBeans:

I recommend this IDE to anyone who wants to teach or practice several languages from 0 or any university that wants or is implemented related tasks because it is very easy for students without experience in the area. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is NetBeans solving and how is that benefiting you?

Currently for the reason that Netbeans is not so recognized at the job level I have only used it to do workshops, tasks, practices and some test applications at the university level, which is why it is very important to grow this software so that it can be taken as a professional work tool in many companies Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about NetBeans?

The helpful hints it gives you when you have errors in your code, and the suggestions of what it should be.

I also find the layout very appealing, everything is easy to find.

The hierarchy window and getValue navigator are also big pluses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetBeans?

I honestly have no complaints with Netbeans.

I do however wish it was a multi functional programming environment meaning you can program more than Java in it.

C++ and C would be added bonuses to be able to write in.

Would make netbeans an all around IDE like Visual Studios but for free. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering NetBeans:

Netbeans is an all around great IDE to program java with.

It's easy to use and navigate and there are tons of documentation to help you with what you need to accomplish. I highly recommend this IDE for java coders. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is NetBeans solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you like best about NetBeans?

Compatibility with the composer for PHP Research is simple and easy to do, which I believe is an excellent favorable position. Netbeans has an incredibly simple interface, making it perfect for amateurs in evaluation with coverage. Custom interfaces for the consumer The response offers cross-platform support. This means it can be installed on Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X structures. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetBeans?

Loading Netbeans takes a long time and the internal tools need to mature a bit more like IntelliJ. The debug mode is not clear and a lot of factors need to be configured, and the integration with repositories like GitHub, GitLab is quite complicated. The modules are not really updated. This is because every time they are organized, the projects for all the dependencies, and this causes delays in the startup. I think the worst thing about NetBeans is that it is very heavy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering NetBeans:

It will save you a lot of work by creating forms. I expand the tasks in Java. I would propose it to start. Make sure to have enough RAM to handle it, its essential and simplest disadvantage is its memory consumption which is atypical and seems to worsen with each release. If you are considering using a non-commercial IDE that supports a couple of programming languages, Netbeans could be an excellent alternative. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is NetBeans solving and how is that benefiting you?

Basically, I paint in NetBeans to enhance the enterprise web application using Java Server Pages, Java Server Faces, and Hibernate Java or Java FX IDE. Although the resources for Java themselves are much less for Hadoop, NetBeans helps to succeed with a few plugins for native libraries and consequently saves time, and now I don't shave it. I am a Drupal developer and I want IDE to write the code and I use NetBeans to write code in distinctive languages and its quietly accurate editor to apply another in the market with a multitude of tools and new features available. Development of applications in Java. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about NetBeans?

It has a utility for some additional devices to create network administrations -> The IDE editor is customizable and various issues can be downloaded from the market according to your convenience. Netbeans supports a large number of Java programs along with J2SE and EJB. Graphically, I suppose it is a very good tool for application in the Java language. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetBeans?

More alternatives may be desirable on some occasions. -> It is difficult to work with Netbeans on low-memory computers. It seems to me to be an intuitive IDE for creating windows in desktop applications. Its initial loading is a bit slow, it takes a long time to start using it. In comparison with other IDEs, it consumes a large amount of RAM, requires a variety of laptops, the use of advanced equipment requires training, which explains the learning curve to accumulate and generates additional expenses or the search for specialized personnel. It is incredible for Maven, however, I have found other IDEs that include Eclipse and IntelliJ for superior performance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering NetBeans:

The Git support in NetBeans allows us to work on large-scale initiatives with the management model. In any case, it's not a bad option since it's free. I am using NetBeans day to day for my IDE IDK, for me it is everything I need, without problems, complete and very customizable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is NetBeans solving and how is that benefiting you?

Netbeans has helped me perform various types of tasks, from laptop packages to web pages, integrating online databases, JAVA, PHP, and HTML in a very intuitive way. I started in Java programming with Netbeans, programming different packages throughout my career. Java or Java FX IDE I started in Java programming with Netbeans, programming unique applications during my profession. This programming environment has numerous tools that will help you quickly increase the software program, mainly if you want to create a fast graphical interface without fundamental complications.
