I like how easily NetBeans integrates with the Java SDK. Sometimes with other pieces of software such as IntelliJ, you can mess up the JDK integration and its complicated to get it linked again, whereas I have never had a problem with NetBeans. Another awesome feature is that NetBeans makes a .jar file that can be run via command line every time you clean and build which is awesome for testing purposes. The only real complaint that I have about Netbeans is the UI. It looks old and outdated, which makes me want to use it just a little less. This is not a big deal though because the functionality is 100% there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Great console and project management bar. I think it is very straightforward, easy to install, and a no-hassle, no-nonsense IDE. I like the code refactoring and code debugging options provided too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It does not provide as many features or as many testing related integrations like Eclipse. Mostly I have had issues using JUnit and jacoco on this. I'd use netbeans for simpler and more object oriented plain projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Simplicidad y ligero en cuento al consumo de memoria y espacio. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Falta de utilidades y mayor ayuda en cuanto a la edición de ficheros y compilado al vuelo. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is an excellent programming environment, with which you can develop all kinds of applications and software in JAVA, its interface is intuitive and has a very good debugger, you can also download the add-ons to be able to have more functions, its autocomplete makes things to be much easier at the time of writing, you can also customize it with the topics you want. The load of any type of project is always slow, like the execution of some application, in addition, the most important complements are expensive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Provides a wide and effective functionality for java language. Bring various swing UI to make an interactive user interface of software. It debugs and provides error inspection description which help to fix it quickly. Netbeans provides a user friendly interface. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It worked well for our projects. And, helped us in delivering a high quality jobs before deadline Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The preset configuration allows the user to start playing, to organize, change and modify either the graphic environment, such as the installation of extensions and plug-ins, as well as the ability to use any API, its auto-compiler and garbage collector, in addition to the flexibility in the creation section for graphic apps. The worst thing of all is its excessive amount of resource consumption, which causes that not any computer can use it, since it slows down its operation, as well as having a badly distributed menu bar and does not allow the creation of Diagrams, as well as problems to the create libraries Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As a part time hobby and also semi-full time work. I code a simple payment system for my company. Usually I do my programming in Java as well as PHP. Netbeans is a really good compiler for Java especially. It has a clean and simple user interface compared to other compilers. Most of all I like the most about netbeans is it supports universal programming languages as known as multiple programming languages as a compiler. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Netbeans actually have a huge ram consumption compared to other compilers. I can't blame this since Netbeans is also a heavy compiler program itself. But on the other hand it doesn't highlight errors or syntax errors in certain programming languages. It also doesn't auto correct the syntax itself. I think this is a must and is very common feature in compilers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We use it both in an academic environment and in a production environment, and it is undoubtedly the best alternative to Microsoft's paid solution. Very intuitive and constantly updated, this tool is a solution to consider for all those who want to develop some software. In fact, it was with it that we took our first steps in the learning process that we started in the academic field. Perhaps because of its characteristics and cost, many educational institutions and others choose this solution. At informatico.pt, we highly recommend this tool not only because it is the one we currently use but also because we have tried other solutions like Microsoft's Visual Studio and Codeblocks, and none compare to the features that Netbeans offers. Even though it is more difficult to obtain support than with other solutions, Netbeans stands out for its ease of use and understanding of the compilation system itself. It is an IDE that runs on many platforms, such as Windows, Linux, Solaris, and MacOS. Furthermore, it is used to create a range of sensitive scientific software in large organizations in defense, aerospace, logistics, and research, such as Boeing, Airbus Defense and Space, NASA, and NATO. As it is a free tool, sometimes getting support is a bit more difficult than when we use a commercial tool. But it is nothing that cannot be resolved in forums or blogs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like that it serves to program in several programming languages although I especially used it to program in Java. There are a lot of different versions: For Java SE, for Java EE, for PHP, for JS/HTML, for C/C++ and a full version that has all of the above.
What I like most about this integrated development environment is its system for creating graphical interfaces in Java. I have tried other IDE and this is the most comfortable for this type of tasks. You can do it graphically without having to program.
It has all the features that can be expected from an integrated development environment and It has a plugin system to extend its functionality.
It is multiplatform so you can install it in any operating system.
It has a simple and enjoyable interface.
Netbeans is free. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think the worst thing that NetBeans has is that is very heavy. It needs a lot of time to initialize and sometimes is very slow code with it because it takes long time to show the predict the code you want to write. Another thing that I don't like is the integration with git repositories and the debbug mode. THe debbug mode isn't clear and you have to configure a lot of things, and the integretion with repositories (like GitHub, GitLab...) is very bad, sometimes I need to close NetBeans and pull/push my code with a terminal.
