Mosaic allows me to quickly summarize financial scenarios within my organization. It enables our team to make key buisness decisions and scale our operations. It has been easy to use after the onboarding process. Very smooth onboarding processs with the dedicated team as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
More customized charts / tables would be a nice to have within Mosaic. While there is a breadth of different charts and tables, it would be nice to have the ability to customize these displays more quickly than it currently is within the tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Straightforward onboarding. API connectivity setup easy to do without dev team involvement. Allows for Mosaic to aggregrate data from several tech stack sources and be that single source of reporting. Onboarding team is helpful and knowledgeable about getting the platform operational quickly. And good at assisting with platform navigation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
No downsides. There are just more built-in metrics than you can reasonably use during onboarding. So deciding which ones to implement takes some time to consider. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The ability to create and share canvases with a series of charts and reports is great for one expert to handle setup and then disseminate data in a format where other employees can interact with it without jeopardizing the source data. Using the configuration settings to switch between a chart and table while maintaining the settings is a great feature, as well as applying data ranges to all reports on a canvas. The no-code setup limits customization from what would be available in a code-optional setup. Custom metrics do allow for formulas, but the functions are much more limited in comparison to something like Excel. Documentation via articles and webinars leave some blind spots related to building out functions within metrics and while support is very pleasant, we've not had a ton of progress or solutions coming out of our more technical questions. Find it sometimes difficult to find certain filters/data updates as it is not where I would expect things to be (not as user friendly in that sense). Unable to integrate to multiple stripe databases Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Mosaic is great because it allows us to aggregate data from our GL (Sage), our CRM (HubSpot) and our HRIS (Paylocity) for the purposes of building an enterprise-wide metrics dashboard. It takes a lot of manual work out of preparing routine metrics and charts like pipeline, revenue, CAC,win rate, EBITDA etc. The support we recieve from Max and the Mosaic team is also top notch! In terms of larger items, it would be great if we could bring data warehouse data into Mosaic. This would allow us to take some metrics out of Looker and bring them into Mosaic. It would also be great to have more control over the design/coloring/styling of charts. And some basic features like being able to print paginated PDF views from Mosaic cleanly are not available. We got up & running on Mosaic with our opex & department-level reporting incredibly quickly. We have a ton of visibility into how our expense/headcount are tracking, and headcount planning is very straight forward. Many of our department heads have found Mosaic a much easier way to ingest data than the google sheets we were using previously.
As a main administrator, I use Mosaic weekly & it simplifies our budget refreshes & BVA reporting significantly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We are still using google sheets/excel files for more complex parts of our modelling (revenue), as they offer flexibility & speed of updating that Mosaic can't match. We also use google sheets when we need people outside the Finance team to comment or suggest edits, as Mosaic does not have those collaborative capabilities.
We do not use any Mosaic reports directly in our executive reporting, as we can't customize them sufficiently to meet our needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Mosaic makes financial forecasting for SaaS businesses really simple and is a significant upgrade from Excel-based forecasting. The background calculations are styled like Excel so are intuitive. It also integrates into a number of systems which makes metric reporting really powerful.
The support from Mosaic is excellent- the teams is very responsive and our CRM is very knowledgeable. The staff have finance backgrounds so really understand what we are trying to achieve and are very helpful Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I am in the UK, so there is a time-difference for me with the support available. We overlap in my afternoon so it isn't usually an issue but does mean I don't have "instant" support if I needed it.
One or two of the background processes when forecasting are a little manual and the whilst the graphs are customisable, they are not fully editable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Mosaic has been a game changer for our company to allow for automated reporting. Mosaic connects directly to all of our systems: HRIS, CRM, and Accounting. Being responsible for building the FP&A function at my company, the implementation of Mosaic was a no-brainer. Mosaic has allowed us to recreate our Financial Model and has allowed me personally to focus more on the analysis side as opposed to spending hours updating reports. We were happy with all stages of Mosaic: initial sales (highly committed and want your best interest), CSM (ensured that we had a smooth and successful implementation), Account Manager & Support (ensured that we have the support required since we are now live) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Mosaic is a young company and will continue to evolve, there are functionalities that other tools offer but is not something that is currently available within Mosaic. This includes features such as: more robust and formatted reporting, built in functionalties of reporting within Excel, and Mobile application support. Regardless Mosaic is always committed to listening to feedback and I am sure we can expect these features on their future product roadmap. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The analysis has been reallly insightful in getting all our data collated in one space. We can now quickly and easily compare metrics that in the past took a lot of time to create. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We still find Excel much easier to manipulate in terms of forecasting. Resource planning seems quite restrictive in terms of business specific inputs that we want to create Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like best about Mosaic Tech is its transformative impact on our financial planning and analysis processes.
* The real-time data analytics and dynamic financial modeling capabilities have been particularly impressive, providing us with accurate and up-to-date insights that significantly improve our decision-making.
* The seamless and ease of integration and user-friendly interface make it accessible for all team members, while the automation of routine tasks saves us valuable time.
* Additionally, Mosaic’s customizable dashboards and comprehensive reporting ensure we have a clear view of our financial health. *
* Truly, what I've found the most exceptional so far is customer support from Mosaic Tech. Always there to support and enhances the overall experience, making it an indispensable tool for our organization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One challenge I anticipated and had to manage was that, despite Mosaic being similar to Excel or Google Sheets, some people in the organization did not instinctively use Mosaic to check their numbers since it is not Google Sheet per say. But, after showing them the perks, buy-in was easy to get. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
