ability to get wide range of data / ability to get data on individual data on funds. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Morningstar Direct?

often it is difficult to get specific data or to find data that flows easily from one page to another. UI can be extremely challenging at times, especially when looking for data on indicies. Further, at times there are data issues especially relating to calculated fixed income metrics (eg spread calacultated against the wrong base curve or duration numbers unreasonable) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Morningstar Direct?

Morningstar is a game-changer, one-of-its-kind and complete database to track fund's performance, positioning, factor exposures, and access to their research reports. The ease of using it, speed and constant upgrading are notable features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Morningstar Direct?

Attribution capabilities are still not the best, while access to portfolio holdings is stale at times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Morningstar Direct solving and how is that benefiting you?

Our team use Morningstar extensively for perforamnce tracking, preparing rolling charts and factor exposures. We utilize the excel based API capabilities as well, which has been very helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
