I find the automation feature incredibly valuable as it significantly reduces the time consumption involved in building detailed reports. Compared to manual methods using PowerPoint and Excel, Morningstar Direct delivers results with higher detail and at a faster pace. The ease with which I can calculate trailing or calendar year returns across more than a hundred strategies is a fantastic feature; exporting this data is effortless, as opposed to manually searching for it. I particularly enjoy using the Presentation Studio, which offers flexibility and creative options for building templates, searches, and reports, allowing me to tailor what I show based on the specific report or project. The global use and the significant role that Morningstar Direct plays in my field enhance my career prospects, and for these reasons, I feel positive about purchasing it again. I have rated my likelihood of recommending Morningstar Direct to others as a ten due to its effectiveness, global application, and the considerable career benefits associated with its usage. I would like there to be more tables and graphs offered in the presentation studio. I noticed that there is a lack of flexibility—notably, there are no duration versus effective duration graphs, for example.
