What do you like best about Moodle?

I liked how easy it was to use as a student. I liked being able to see my grades as the semester progressed, which also helped to follow along to make sure all of my assignments got turned in. It was also very easy to upload documents to turn assignments or sources into the professors. The ability to access all of my classes on one simple home page was great; as was the ability to change the order of the classes on the page and the number of classes shown. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Moodle?

That at the end of the semester, the class didn't automatically leave from my homepage. I understand that teachers have to close the class or remove from the class or whatever it is, so it's not necessarily Moodle's fault, but it was a little irritating. On the other hand, it was useful to be able to go back and look at previous classes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Moodle:

If most people at your school/college/university use Moodle, use it too! I know that sometimes learning something new is time consuming, but for students taking multiple classes of varying degrees of difficulty, it makes their life so much easier to be able to access all of their classes on one site. For students I would recommend just playing around with it when you first use it - there's more you can than you think (like finding classmate's emails, which is handy for group projects.) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Moodle solving and how is that benefiting you?

I used it as a student. For some classes it was mandatory to use it - that was the only way you could get documents from the teacher and also the only way to turn things in. I think the biggest benefits are that it was easy to use on my end, and that all of the resources for each class were all in one place and I didn't have to go to 12 different websites for one class. What do you like best about Moodle?

Its free without the hassle that usually brings, that is number one for any business. Second is it is solid and robust. From a single high school teacher to a entire university, this system can scale and is easy to operate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
