Moodle provides functional, usable,flexible, reliable and adaptable features and functionalities that truly satisfies my requirements as end-user of a learning management software. The user interface is easy to manage and navigate so it's not hard for me and my students to interact and communicate. Creating virtual classroom and setting-up enrollment are easy to do and perform. Using this online learning platform, I can easily create assessment, manage learners' profile, check students' academic progress and create needed report in providing immediate feedback to my students. There is also an option that I can backup and restore all the activities in the virtual classroom that I created in which I considered great features of this software. Since Moodle is considered as a learning management software, it would be better if it has chat feature not online an online forum so that the teacher can provide real-time support for those students who need help. Advantages -

5. One can collate all their courses at one place.

6. This site can be used to preview all the upcoming courses.

7. Great way to immediately get feedback from teachers.

8. The dashboard contains the latest news that is chronologically sorted.

Disadvantages -

1. Difficult to use.

2. Sends an email every time the teacher posts something.

3. Not user friendly.

4. It is difficult to track the updates as there are no email updates.

5. It may not be very easy to understand the usage.

It's easy to create a course structure, organize content and manage students and their grades. It's also easy to integrate with interactive course material. It collect good amount of students statistics to know who's lagging behind. It's easy to setup quizzes, surveys and assignments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The gradebook is horrible and times out easily, and it does not communicate with third party sites like Turnitin after it times out. After 11 years of using it, I had to submit 6 grade changes out of 132 students because Turnitin timed out at a different time than Moodle. It did not communicate and record grades and did not tell me that this process did not happen. This also happened when I inputted actual items into my gradebook, so what should have been out of 950 in my Excel computed out of 835 for students. Each time the Zoom code was deleted, the participation points would disappear. It was a disaster. The grades for assignments would fluctuate from 10 to 100 points randomly.

It provides a good environment for both the learner and the facilitator during the learning process with the help of online discussions. In the discussions it provides different useful access levels such as "moderator" which is a very helpful feature. As a result of this it helps the peer leaning process.

Other than that the It provides a cool function to submit the assignments. It is really helpful and very easy. Due to this feature it has reduced lot of paperwork which is very good for the environment as well.

Although it provides a number of useful interactions the interfaces are not much attractive. As a result a new user may refuse to continue with it. They do not offer a section to maintain transcripts so we go to another site to keep grades and send transcripts to our students. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love the interface of LMS. It is super easy to keep track of the progress in each course. I love the bars showing how much percent of the course is done. I also love how we can upload or download almost any file extension be it .zip, .py, or even a .yxdb. LMS helped me sail through the six to seven odd courses where I had to keep track of assignment deadlines, exam schedules and homework questions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

One thing about LMS that I noticed is that sometimes it took too long to respond. Particularly when a submission portal closes at a specific time, it becomes a bit difficult if the portal freezes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The best thing about the moodle platform is the ability it has so that students can complement their knowledge by interacting with their teachers, since it allows you to perform many tasks available to everyone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What can upset many people, is that in a few educational institutions in the country, such a platform has not been established, therefore, for some students, the platform is a bit difficult to handle and they even fail to understand its usability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
