I like the ease of Moodle was well and set up of each part. Moodle was easy to navigate for online classes that I was taking during the summer. I liked the fact that I didn't need any help from anyone to naviage the site; it was very self-explanatory. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I used Moodle for forums and keeping in contact with my professors and peers in my four years in college. It was very helpful with keeping up with assignments and posting blogs. You can make Moodle whatever you want it to be. As an Open Source Platform, you can customize any part, and there are a multitude of free add-ons available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
To make the site usable you MUST customize it. For the branding most companies require, estimate a year or two of design, development, and deployment. Integration with SharePoint must be custom coded Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the overall look of Moodle. Since switching from Blackboard I feel that it can be more user friendly although I am comparing this to an old version of Blackboard. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I do not like that many book publishers do not have the same amount of resources that easily link to Moodle as compared to Blackboard. I think Moodle could also benefit from some added features such as a better PDF grading tool (make it as advanced as using the Adobe comments feature). I would also like if there was something similar to Google hangouts directly in Moodle. I do not like having to use features outside of the Moodle platform - if we are going to use Moodle I want everything directly in the platform. I would also like in forums that there was something similar to a "like" button in Facebook - if I could easily hit a quick "like" or "substantive comment" button and add a quick comment right there on the spot that would make forum grading much easier. The student should be able to easily see this as well. I use the red flag and green star for my benefit now but I do not believe the students can see this and I still have to hit reply to actually add my comment - takes too long. This is a learning management system that can be use to help facilitate online learning. This program allows for easy file uploads, class discussions and forum posts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that it keeps all my classes organized through a paperless online platform. I enjoy being able to take quizzes through this model because there is more customizability and often allows you to back track, where other sources don't. I dislike how the website lists all of the weeks of the class and assignments in one super long list all on the same home page. It makes it super annoying to find a week later in the course because you have to scroll through so much. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
