"Menlo Review"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Menlo Security?

The customer service is excellent, and the user interface is both fantastic and intuitive, making it easy to find and navigate to the items you need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Menlo Security?

One challenge I often face is the time zone difference when seeking help from the service desk. Frequently, I am connected with someone based in the India time zone, which can be inconvenient. Since I work a standard 9-5 schedule in the GMT time zone, it would be much more efficient to communicate with support staff who are available during the same hours for quicker assistance in times of need as our business needs are not being met. "Secure and Seamless User Experience!!"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Menlo Security?

I value the platform’s usability and its seamless integration within the existing enterprise environment. Menlo was straightforward to deploy and configure at scale. Following an initial analysis of user web traffic, defining and fine-tuning policy exceptions was efficient and well-structured. Menlo effectively mitigates user-initiated web-based threats, complementing gaps left by email security controls. Additionally, their support team is highly responsive and technically proficient. What do you dislike about Menlo Security?

While not a significant operational concern, certain websites that rely on third-party authentication services may occasionally exhibit page load or rendering issues. In most cases, performing a targeted web analysis enables rapid identification and resolution of the underlying cause; however, these intermittent disruptions can still be frustrating for end users. "Easy Enterprise Setup, Strong Protection, and Responsive Support"
5/5
What do you like best about Menlo Security?

I appreciate the ease of use and how well it integrates with the platform. Menlo was easy to configure at the enterprise level. After an initial analysis of user traffic, dialing in the necessary exceptions was straightforward and efficient. Menlo protects my users from themselves—what email security misses, Menlo catches. Their support team is competent and responsive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Menlo Security?

There are still a few sites that don’t play well with Menlo. The most notable ones are sites that use third-party authentication services, which can sometimes cause pages not to load properly. In most cases, running a web analysis for these sites leads to a quick resolution, but the disruption can still be frustrating for my users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Robust Cybersecurity with Slight Latency Trade-off"
5/5
What do you like best about Menlo Security?

I like Menlo Security's core approach to isolating risky web activity away from the user's device so threats never reach the endpoint. The initial setup was smooth since we had a clear deployment scope. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Menlo Security?

The most noticeable effect of Menlo Security from a user's standpoint is the user experience and latency issues since users experience slight browser lag and slower file downloads. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Essential Shield for Network Safety"
5/5
What do you like best about Menlo Security?

I love that Menlo Security acts like a safety shield for links and websites, keeping users from getting infected when they click on something risky. It protects our internal networks and users effectively. The feature that shows what threats were stopped and who was protected is really helpful because instead of us being blind and only finding out after someone gets infected, we get visibility into threats early, which helps us respond faster. The initial setup was quick and smooth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Menlo Security?

None as of now. We are satisfied with the software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Highly Effective Web Isolation, Minor Lag Compromise"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Menlo Security?

I find Menlo Security very easy to implement and use, with minimal issues for end users right out of the box. If any problems do come up, changing policies is simple and quick. I also appreciate the ability to restrict what files and file types users can upload or download to and from the internet. The initial setup was a breeze and took no time at all. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Menlo Security?

The only hiccup we've had is that the Menlo Security proxy tends to slow down internet browsing sessions; I believe this is a natural result of the product and a worthwhile tradeoff, but it does create some friction with end users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless Web Protection with Peace of Mind"
5/5
What do you like best about Menlo Security?

I love that Menlo Security is a seamless web isolation platform. The data protection and zero trust access features are great; they create a virtual sandbox that protects users from invalid links and give peace of mind to both users and administrators. I also like that Menlo Security is a better choice compared to Trend Micro because it is faster, sanitizes downloads, and has stronger URL filtering. Additionally, it's easy to set up. What do you dislike about Menlo Security?

Sometimes it can be slow because some categories are blocked. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Robust Browser Security with Constant Improvements"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Menlo Security?

I like Menlo Security's new support structure and how they are constantly improving their product. I use the Data Loss Prevention and Zero-hour phishing (HEATshield) features, which are currently addressing our needs and upcoming initiatives. The initial setup was pretty straightforward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Menlo Security?

I don't like the need to put in exceptions as the exception list has been growing. I wish there was a way to still protect the sites even if they are in the exception list. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
