Works as a fantastic memory aiding tool to remember what you were doing at the time. I am an architect and work between many programs at once, often spending a few minutes on one application hen switching to a pdf to CAD to Revit etc, this programme logs it all and you cal review in granular detail should you need to. Links in with your Outlook calendar to pick up your pre-scheduled meetings and events. It also gives an incredible breakdown of which websites you visited. Great for billing clients, but also reviewing your time spent on jobs to understand where efficiencies in your own workflow may lie. The customer support has been fantastic and has helped me solve minor issues i had. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sync between two computers from one user doesn't seem to be supported, and there is a lack of integration with Monday.com. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As a part of a University, we have multiple programs and accounts. Memtime allows us to easily track the percentage of time we spend in any given day performing tasks for the various programs. I like how it allows you to create your own categories and tasks that are the most effective for your work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Since Memtime does not store any information outside of the local device, you have to run reports from each device you use. This can be tedious, however, when working with sensitive information this is a beneficial security feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We use Memtime in our company to track time and log effort against tickets. It’s incredibly efficient, allowing us to create minute-precise work logs with minimal effort at the end of each day. It's also very easy to set up and integrate with Jira.
Highly recommended for streamlining time management! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The UI could be updated to look more modern, however, this does not impact the functionality in any way :) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Memtime is an amazing time-tracking software! Accurate, intuitive, and fully automated, it has helped me gain a clear overview of my productivity without the need for manual input. The design is simple yet effective, and the detailed reports make task management much easier. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to improve their work organization! Honestly, there isn't much I dislike about Memtime. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I'm an independent contractor in the HR field and volunteer for several non-profits. Using Memtime makes tracking the time I spend with each client much easier since I don't have to manually record the time taken with each document. It's automatic and works seamlessly in the background. It also tracks the time I spend volunteering, so it's a useful time management tool for me. Setting it up took little time. I was also impressed with not having to provide a credit card for a free trial period. Any questions I have had have been answered in a very timely manner. Using Memtime has been a worthwhile investment! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It doesn't make a cup of coffee. Seriously, though, I have not come across anything I don't like Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Memtime has been great to finally get my team to start tracking their time spent servicing clients on a more granular level. It's been a struggle to do it manually and it doesn't fit with our team culture to do it with any form of spyware. We really like the ability to keep it on the user device and only push over the data that's relevant. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The cost is quite a bit more than other solutions, and the only way to get a discount is to prepay a significant amount - 12 or 24 months. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I am self-employed and bill back hours to my clients. When I get in the groove, I tend to forget to start/stop time tracking software that's out there. At the end of my day, when I look back at what I did, I can't remeber everything I did across all my clients and end up loosing billable time in my guessing. I've been searching for a passive time tracking solution for over a year. I've tried multiple solutions, however they all require the starting or stopping of time clocks, which as stated above, I'm not good with. When I came across Memtime, I immediately fell in love with the fact that it tracks everything that you do on your computer! From emails to projects online or in apps, I am able to bill accuartely 100% of my hours worked! Also, love that it integrates with my calendar so that I also don't forget to bill for time where i'm in a meeting rather than actively working on my computer. It's like I've given myself a bonus! I have yet to find anything that I dislike about Memtime. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

My fractional CFO told me about Memtime during a planning session, and I was super intrigued at the thought of tracking my time without tracking my time.
Within a day, I was sold and ready to subscribe. I had it connected in minutes and could make changes to how I manage my time within a few days.
I love that it can connect to multiple tools effortlessly and track even when I forget I'm supposed to be tracking. And I am even getting a deeper understanding of how I spend my non-billable time since it's tracking in the background, and I use my computer every day.
I've only had a couple of reasons to contact support and got a response within a day, sometimes within minutes of creating a ticket. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There some sync issues, but most seem to be resolved easily with the sync function. Only one required further support.
The interface is a bit difficult to manage, but it has improved in the six months I've used the app, so I'm sure better UX/UI is coming.
I'd love an app for my phone/tablet to keep tracking on the go.
The cost is a bit high, but the referral program offsets that a bit AND it's worth the price of my sanity and catching all billable time! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love that i dont have to start and (forget) stopping timers for for tracking my time. I think the interface is easy to use and implement with existing time tracking software. I love that its almost set and forget, so i only have to do it once a day. It's been so easy that there where no need for support or onborading. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The software is not good looking – it hurts my designer heart every afternoon when i fill out my timesheet, but the ease makes it worth it.
I think the idea of automations is good, but there is a lot more to be done. Im not a fan of the pricing – I would not know who could benefit from the basic and its a little steep, and i would love some team rebates/packages. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I've been using the free trial of Memtime to track all the tasks I complete, and it's been a game changer for my workflow. What I like best about Memtime is how it provides a clear and detailed picture of how I spend my time, ensuring that every minute of billable work is correctly allocated to the relevant client. This feature has significantly improved my time management and billing accuracy.
The customer service has also been excellent; they're responsive and helpful whenever I've had questions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One area for improvement is that some desktop apps don't track at a granular level.
While you can see that you're using a particular program, it doesn't always specify which client or job you're working on. I've brought this to the attention of the Memtime team, and they are actively looking into it.
Despite this minor issue, Memtime has proven to be a valuable tool in streamlining my work process, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for reliable time-tracking software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some things you don't even realise you need - until you use them. Memtime is one such thing. Previously, I always tracked manually, which is not a big deal in itself, but in total quite time-consuming. It's super intuitive to use and the automatic tracking always works reliably and comprehensibly. The function of ‘switching offline’ or pausing the recording is also really useful. It should also be emphasised that (at least according to Memtime) everything happens locally on the computer - clearly a matter of trust, but it seems plausible in this case. I really like using Memtime a lot because it makes tracking so much easier. I am also more than satisfied with the super friendly customer support for feedback or other concerns - if not positively surprised compared to other software companies. In some places, synchronising data between end devices would be quite practical. Of course, this would contradict the ‘local-data-only’ approach, but in the end, data from several devices would have to be collected manually - or incompatible devices (tablet, phone) would still have to be tracked manually.
In addition, the current net price of €15 (without an excessively long subscription commitment) is quite high, especially compared to the range of functions offered by the competition. Although the USP here is clearly the automatic tracking. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
