We've been using Memberstack for over two years now. It has enabled us to launch MVP in a matter of days. And even after we've scaled from 10 to 1000s of users, its flexibility and easy of use keeps impressing us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are a couple of outstanding feature requests we'd love to see, but I can't think of anything we're disliking. I'm sure a lot of the small non-essential missing features will be covered with the launch of Memberstack 2.0. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I was able to get Memberstack set up and integrated with my Webflow site (and Zapier) by myself. There are some really good tutorials online. I was able to add a membership model and gate certain pages behind a log in quite easily. Also nice that they handle the auth flow. You also get access to a staging account so you can create demo accounts while you're testing that you don't get charged for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Memberstack isn't a CRM, so I had to take on some additional work to make Memberstack, Airtable (our CRM), and Webflow all work together, essentially "Rosetta-stoning" three unique IDs per user. Not the end of the world, but a native Airtable integration would be really amazing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The platform is relatively easy to set up and maintenance of existing memberships is pretty easy. We use the membership sign-up forms and the CMS tools. Don't know how it compares to competitors as we haven't used a competitor. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Lacks features that scale with growth. I would like to see improvements such as the ability to change prices, incorporate enterprise tiers, customizable profiles, more integrations with community platforms like Slack. Also, more dynamic analytics dashboards to help with membership maintenance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Memberstacks granular features mean I can add depth to my private client platform; everything from member pages to more fine control of single member visibility. Easy to set up and manage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I can't say that there is anything I dislike when it comes to day to day management. However Membrestack could do with more API features to allow moving members from one tier to the next. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Memberstack is a well designed product that integrates with a whole host of other services. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Memberstack 2.0 has been coming for way too long. The team has put off development of 1.0 in favor of 2.0 and that's made some features lacking. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love the little amount of actual coding necessary to create a membership website with memberstack. Also, you can customize a significant number of things that you wouldn't be able to with members on a website builder. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
If I had to choose, there are a few limitations with memberstack that can be frustrating. With that being said, I'm usually able to find workarounds if those inconveniences are solved, wow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Memberstack is very easy to setup and integrate with Webflow. The features are adequate for our needs and the roadmap gives us the confidence to have a great experience for our members! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We wish Memberstack had the ability to setup group memberships and social logins. This would really help to make our membership experience top notch for our prospective members. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Easy to install, low-code, works with my favourite tools like Webflow & Stripe. Very responsive support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Could improve on user management, primarily in the area of mass editing/deletion. We had a bot attack and couldn't delete the 10s of thousands of fake accounts, but they were easily filtered out and their Recaptcha tool prevented future attacks.
They could always integrate other tools / expand their offering into user messaging, support tools and have more CRM functionality down the line too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The platform has a great mix of flexibility tied with being straightforward enough to set up, that it still lives comfortably in the no-code space. The ability to create custom page designs and tie Memberstack attributes is a great addition that makes it easy to blend seamlessly into a site. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I feel like the pricing can be a bit high, I used it for a free membership site so didn't have an issue with the monthly plan but the cost 4% transaction fee plus Stripes additional percentage and fixed fee can definitely eat into margins quite quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love that Memberstack integrates with our own website. This was super important to us. And with the launch of 2.0 I think it will be the prefect solution to our needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We really needed the ability to give people access to different products ( instead of them all being locked into one subscription or another). It sounds like this will be solved with the new release though! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
