Grid and typography is one of the most usefull components in material ui Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The first time we approach the material UI face some difficulties in integrating my react app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It has well-designed components that meet the user's needs. It is very easy to set a global theme for individual components. It has already customized components that are well-documented and easy to follow. We can also use it with react typescript without many changes. I really enjoyed using component props as it allows us to use HTML tags. It is also faster in performance than before since the new version 5 arrived. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Material UI lacks image and video components. Although we have avatar and CardMediaAPI but they don't completely serve the purpose. The form related components are not easily customizable such as TextField. I had to inspect the TextField thoroughly to just remove the animation and customize the border. Components are not easy to inspect and customize as there are many nested components with them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The most beneficial feature of MUI is its primary purpose, which is its components. MUI provides ready-made components to integrate into our projects without hassle or issues. As a developer, MUI has helped me save time by integrating those components into my react-based projects with perfect designs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes when trying to change some of the component's basic designs, structures, or working functionalities, it gets hard to update the piece. It would be great if the documentation covered these tricky essential parts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like most about the Material Ui library is the documentation. It's easy to learn how to use all the available components and learn how each one works. In addition to having extensive documentation, it is also simple to solve problems with a simple Google search, as the community that uses the library is very active. The learning curve for using the library can be a bit steep. Despite all the simplicity, a user without much experience in development can get lost a little in the customization of components. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Material UI is built with React use at its core components are prebuilt for your use with you only needing to provide the props they will use. This can take a headache out of development process and keep your JSX clean.
Example components below that would take time to otherwise develop are below and show the power of the UI framework.
- Sliders
- Drop downs
- Navigations
This is huge for a developer as many of these components can eat a lot of time to develop properly to be in like with current accessibility standards which Material UI has already taken into account. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
For all material UI's advantages I find its approach to handling CSS a bit cumbersome to apply and target correctly. This is due to its own system for applying to components which while necessary is not initially intuitive to apply.
Also the documentation site while as a whole good can sometimes be unclear about how to apply certain aspects of the framework. Example case being when you are trying to combine components together and unusual behavior is encountered. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

When I started my career as a full stack developer with react js without having zero knowledge on UI. Then I got to know about material UI which is the best platform which provides all the required components needed for designing the user interface for frontend. It has sandbox Integrated so that I can test it and helps me to design custom components. Its one of the best part is its documentation and support from the team 🤩 Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Its hard to say this part but as per me the api documentation for each component should've b een more resource to understand indepth of the components also I might prefer having a better template by material UI. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like the most about material UI is that it gives wide range of customizable components and large number of in-built templates for any requirement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I cant think of any dislike but the library could add more components to there store, because as compared to angular UI libraries variety of components is less in material UI. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The library has almost all the components required for building any frontend, easy to use with React. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Styling API provided by the Material UI is most helpful in writing the inline styling within the Component and customizing the component with overriding the existing stylings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Materiel ui has almost all components that are used for developing the Web application with React , but something which is missing are the rich components like WYSIWYG text editors and some frequent bugs in the Library which makes some components hard to use with other components.
