Market Muse has effectively helped my created content consistently enjoy a high SEO ranking, resulting in many satisfied clients! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Bit of a nitpick, but the delay whilst MM seeks out keywords is one area that could be continually improved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Honestly, I still feel that I haven't discovered all of the amazing aspects of this tool yet. As a Stanard-plan member, I do have a bit more leeway when researching or analyzing competitor articles. But there are really two things that were really a game-changer for me:
1. *Relevant* keywords - Not all SEO-powered writing tools differentiate between keywords for a specific article. I originally used Topic, and have also used Clearscope and Frase. All these tools are great, but their keyword recommendations are not always practical or contextual.
2. The number grade - Clearscope and Topic use letter grades, but I've found the use of a number to rank the keyword density of a piece to be a bit better. It gives me a better indication of how much more relevant the article could be compared to other high-ranking articles.
And of course, the optimize/research tools are great.
Since I got the 30% deal at Black Friday, I feel like it's a good price point for a solopreneur/small agency owner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
To be honest, it's a bit slow. That isn't necessarily a MarketMuse problem, though. It would also take Topic several minutes to create a file. Sometimes I wish it had a few features that Topic or Frase have, such as pulling common questions people ask from Quora or Google. Topic had a nice tool to pull statistics when it was still around.
But those are minor things. The SEO relevance and results I've experienced for myself and my clients have really outweighed the minor inconveniences of having to open Google. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is user friendly and the UX is very good Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
MM has some quirks. For non-English letters like ü and â it automatically puts the letter in a new line. This doesn't stop your heart but when you accidentally delete one of two keywords required in a certain way the system freaks out and it gives you an error code. It does keep the 'lost' text but you do think it has gone for good when it happens, particularly when you've entered 1000 words already!!! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It eliminates a huge part of the secondary keyword research process required for SEO as well as identifies gaps in the market versus competitors that help get pages into Google's SERP features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The platform can sometimes be a bit clunky, with search queries sometimes taking several minutes to return results. Optimisation tool can sometimes recommend keywords that are irrelevant or doesn't detect the difference between British and American spelling of the same words. MarketMuse makes it so easy to meet your SEO goals. Super intuitive and user-friendly as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing, it genuinely gives you so much value for free. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I really like the ability to quickly see where my content ranks among others with the same keywords before publshing Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
In the free version, I can't organize the keywords alphabetically or by density. I also can't download an excel version to do it on my own. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I use two applications the most - Optimize & Questions. 'Optimize' is great to boost the semantic relevance of any piece of content. 'Questions' is a great tool to get the H2's to rank for Related Questions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't always get information on search intent in the reports. Sometimes while using the 'Optimize' tool to 'Run & Fetch' content - it messes up the formatting which can be quite annoying sometimes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
MarketMuse has an excellent content optimisation tool. When drafting long-form content, you can easily identify relevant keywords to improve the content score. The compete tool works relatively fast and provides a list of keywords. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I found MarketMuse very complex to learn. It takes a while to figure out where to find all the tools, and the steps needed in each case. Creating Briefs is complex and the templates aren't that easy to customise. It's also very expensive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the ease of navigation through all the various features. I also enjoy the simplicity of how everything is broken down to be easily consumed by a variety of experience levels. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
That when you start one query in one feature it doesn't carry over your progress to another query feature. For example, if I am researching a topic, why not when I go to write the content it compares based on what I was originally served up in my research query. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
