The keyword search is very accurate and delivers correct results. It is easy for me to navigate the dashboard. Making settings and checking the content is done quickly. The tool always shows me current results of our placement in search engines. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

My favorite part of using MarketMuse is how much time it shaves off of editing. I work with writers who aren't always the most familiar with SEO so I used to have to manually edit to add in relevant long-tail keywords and rework areas to make them function both for the reader and for the robots. Last summer, I had an intern use the Optimize function to improve her own writing before I reviewed it and she quickly began to pick up the SEO basics.
I also love the Pages inventory. Having recommendations on hand for upgrading our content has been incredibly helpful, particularly as we went through a website redesign and launch. Initially, I think the assumption was that because I bought it, I was tech savvy and use this kind of platform all the time. Wrong. I like how MarketMuse isn't just a content optimizer based on a single target keyword. Tools in that category can be useful, but they don't fall inline with how Google serves up websites / content based on search intent. Continually planning and adjusting a content strategy month to month is a very time consuming process, but it needs to be done.
MarketMuse saves a ton of time by allowing you to look at a high level strategy (what topical areas am I lacking, which ones do I excel at?) while also allowing you to optimize single pieces of content that fall into your overall strategy. It' s more on the expensive side compared to other tools, but they are one of the few platforms in the content strategy space that isn't just another copycat.

The only challenge you may have with MarketMuse is understanding the overall content strategy. It can be a steep learning curve, especially for beginners. If you're serious about content and being the best at your craft, then you'll need to commit time to learning the platform and advanced content marketing strategies.
