Final results are impressive, this software gives you all the control for a precise paint and blend between layers. Price is very good for such a piece of software Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
A lot of patience is required, it's not an easy software and requires a lot of time to be understood. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Mari is the most crucial texturing application for the professional CG industry. It is user-friendly and simultaneously packs all the features required to maintain a smooth pipeline flow in a big studio. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It lacks the integration of a good renderer for checking the textures in the program itself. However, that might change with upcoming updates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that it is just as powerful as other industry tools like the substance package, however there still is a bit of a leaning curve and tools work differently but still great in its own right. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The learning curve, clustered UI but you can edit all that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
This is a very valuable texturing tool. The projection painting is so useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
This toolset is a bit expensive and takes some learning, but other than that I loved the product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Best UDIMs workflow, node-base system, python scripting Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It demands powerful hardware. Baking is not perfect(Substance has better solution). Price too high. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Once you get through the interface and start working with MARI there is no more robust texture toolset on the market. MARI can work with huge texture sizes and multiple UDIMS, putting it into a class leading workflow. The controls are simple and intuitive and the ability to work woth a wide range of file types is excellent too. In version 3, The Foundry have added a wide range of shader options covering a wide range of render and game engines from V-ray to Unreal to allow full clarity of how your textures will look in the finished scene. Also the range of camera and projector options means that MARI can be an excellent tool for creating roto patches as well as solving a lot of retouching issues. As with most Foundry products, MARI is expensive compared to the competition. Also MARI is a hardware hog, so check the specs of your system to make sure it is compatible, forget it you don't have a discreet GPU. Another thing that MARI could do with is a range of preset textures and material to get you up and running, which a lot of it's competitors come with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The ability to paint huge texture maps with resolutions spanning 1k-64k, with UDIMs and Layer support. the ability to import photoshop brush presets directly, which is a huge time saver since the need to create new bursh presets for mari is eliminated. Even with such high resolution Layered and UDIM texture MARI is very responsive while painting textures it allows for direct import export to psd files. it even allows to build occlusion maps for using as dirt maps etc within the MARI itself. Depends on an a decent Nvidia GPU with Cuda support, so AMD card users are left out here. A minor lag occurs right before navigating viewport as the currently painted strokes are baked into the texture map before navigation proceeds. Since it's purely a texturing app any sort of modification to the model is not possible even if minor tweaks, which is possible in competing apps like Mudbox or Zbrush.
