MapBusinessOnline Pros and Cons

MBO is a solid product for the money. I'm a marketer that has been using geocoding software for over 20 years. They can be expensive and challenging to work with.

I would classify MBO as a consumer-grade product that will probably handle 99% of what most people need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I'd like to see a more robust catalog of demographic data available. Sometimes, i'm limited on number of calculations (1mm) so I have to break my datasets into groups. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I really liked the various sorting features, as well as the extensive amount of data and information that can be gathered from simple searches. I use this tool amost every day. In my line of work we need to take business locations and create radiuses either a certain miliage away from the business or more of a generic drive time from the office. The radius allows me to figure out what zip codes are within that range from the office. I can then pull those zip codes out of the system with a simple export and figure out demographics & counts of how many people to target for the business. There's really so many uses for this tool.

We used map Point for years and desperatelly needed a replacement solution. This one fits the bill, and is actually much better in many ways. Especially in a team environment. We do logistics with routing technicians to jobs for roll outs. This helps our team working thousands of sites over multi month projects. Also easy to manage licenses for users. Map Point did a couple things that were useful that this tool does not do, like being able to mouse click and drag over push pins then export those pins to excel. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Great aide in the menegement of territories in the effort to identify geographic areas for business growth. Helps managers and sales representatives understand the basic details about an individual account as that accounts participates in the territory's effort to achieve sales goals.
