Many types of anti-virus software cannot be used in conjunction with similar software. This makes Malwarebytes the perfect companion for other software as it does not seem to have any conflicts. You can scan for viruses with a simple-to-use interface.

Also, Malwarebytes has fewer annoying pop-ups than McAfee (but still some, but you can control them).

What do you dislike about Malwarebytes for Teams?

Now Malwarebytes wants to be your browser extension, your VPN; it has fingers in everything. After downloading Malwarebytes, my system performance tanked. It got so bad that Malwarebytes was the only thing running, and nothing else could run. My computer just froze. I ended up having to reformat my laptop, which was working perfectly fine before this! My computer slowed and eventually crashed, which coincided with switching from McAfee to Malwarebytes. I have Malwarebytes premium running on another, older laptop, which works OK, but still, much much more of a CPU hog than it used to be, which is so disappointing. Even my husband and uncle, who used to do Malwarebytes as default, were pretty upset that the latest version was so heavy on the computer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Usually, I think no antivirus software is best, but I have a work computer, which has data that is valuable if lost or if unretrievable. That would be a massive headache. I do backups, but getting a virus and crashing a computer is a headache. Unfortunately, Malwarebytes caused this exact headache, and I was without a computer for a week. But typically, an antivirus working in the background and taking out any excess additions that websites add on or accidentally click things would be ideally beneficial. What do you like best about Malwarebytes for Teams?

It has long been a debunked myth on how Mac computers are immune to virus and malwares. Certainly wasn't true in my case as my laptop mysteriously acting up by showing its storage is full out of a sudden. Upon reading some online recommendations, I decided to download the Home/Personal version of Malwarebytes and immediately started scanning. It was able to find the culprit and removed it from my computer. Since then, I continue to have it running in the background as a measure to protect myself from similar annoying predicament. What do you dislike about Malwarebytes for Teams?

Nothing really. Probably just slight issue of needing to stop doing any concurrent activity during the scheduled scan as it is quite resource intensive. In any case, it is still a necessary exercise to conduct in order to offer protection and I could easily leave my computer alone for 10-20 minutes when the scanning is executed. Recommendations to others considering Malwarebytes for Teams:

Malwarebytes is probably not everyone. In my case, my regular antivirus software, Avast Home was not able to solve the issue that I encountered with the peculiar/random SSD file writes; as in my extensive scanning was unable to catch anything worthy to be isolated and/or removed from my computer. In the end, upon reading and researching further online, I decided to download Malwarebytes and it was able to solve my head-scratching issue of your-SSD-is-full warnings. So please do some research if you either need an antivirus solution or malware removal tool as from my experience, these two were not exactly the same, functionality-wise. It was able to detect and remove a well-hidden malware that was quite malicious in nature that wrote and filled up my SSD randomly. As this was remedied more than a year ago, the name of the malware has escaped me. I was using Malwarebytes to scan my personal pc occasionally. It is quick in scanning the systems. There are three different modes of scanning systems we can choose from. It also doesn't take much CPU resources to run in systems. We can also schedule a virus scan if we want to have a check periodically.
