Majestic is a platform of tools and services created to satisfy the needs of todays digital marketing professionals. With Majestic your web marketing team can run analyses to monitor your website from malicious attacks and even identify hacking.
Digital marketing teams can use the data as an input to their big data models and derive pro-active strategies to network with other sites: a link is like a relationship - you want good relationships (=links) to improve your online reputation and increase your authority.
Trust Flow, Citation Flow, and Topical Trust are key parameters which offer strategic insights on the quality of a website. I have found nothing which can compete in this field. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Majestic is a sophisticated tool - you'll need some training to get the most out of all the tools available. At first the interface might not be too user friendly but it doesn't take too long to understand how it works. There are a number of videos available which can walk you through and bring you up to speed on using Majestic to make your job easier and faster. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The amazing site explorer gives me a detail analysis of all the links to my website and also the competitors. I even like using Search Explorer, Backlink History, Keyword Checker and Compare Tool. Out of all, the Trust Flow and Citation Flow is something which comes super handy in checking any website details at a glance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing much as of now, but I would love to see some features to be added in like SEMRush, where the list of all the keywords and site metrics show up. It will be a dream coming true to see that happen! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Gives an accurate snapshot of a website's SEO health as far as backlinks, referring domains, trust flow, citation flow, and a monthly snapshot of new links acquired. It's also useful for competitor research -- to mine their links and referring domains, and to give a client an accurate view into how their website is doing compared to competitors.
The tool is available at a low cost, >$100, and you have the ability to save reports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The site design certainly isn't pretty and some of the information isn't intuitive based on the labels. The tutorials and FAQs help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Search Explorer provides additional capability. I can see which sites are ranking for the keywords in the niche I am researching. That gives me value in a number of ways. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
That's a tough question. I love Majestic. One thing I would like to see more of is tools aimed at helping me discover potential keywords based on supply/demand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Majestic's banklink analysis (and basic visualization) is very helpful. It's super easy to use, and you can even get reports from the free version of the tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While informative, the Majestic tool isn't what you'd call pretty. Meaning, you can't take a visual and drop it directly into any sort of client-facing deck, but you'll be able to digest information fairly quickly.
Also, the indicator that shows whether a link that's in the report is still live or not can be less than 100% accurate. That's a bit frustrating. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The comprehensive data provided in their reports has proven very useful when analyzing a clients backlink portfolio to discover trends and assist in creating new SEO strategies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only thing I have discovered that I would choose to improve is to crawl the web more often. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There is a fresh index which shows links which their crawler recently picked up on and a historic index which shows links they have seen from a while ago. This allows for a high number of links to be found by this tool. This is a great tool for back link analysis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
This tool is more likely to show links which are no longer live than other link analysis tools. This makes the tool less accurate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The sheer amount of indexed backlinks/data. Additionally, the Clique Hunter tool makes reverse engineering and competitive backlink analysis a breeze. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The "historic" index does not tell you if they are still live or not; this would be expecially helpful when using the Clique Hunter tool. Just that they have been live at one point in time. I also would like to see a fresh/historic combined index/export, avoiding the need to two separate exports every time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

MajesticSEO provides detailed breakdown of link analysis for a website, including both fresh and historic index to suit each individual's need. I also like that this is a service provided free for anyone who sign up for an account with them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
With the recent Penguin updates, Google is looking at backlinks according to the type of websites these links are originating from. Therefore, it will be great to add a feature that breaks down a website's link profile according to the type of websites it comes from, such as, blogs, blog comments, forums, websites, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It tends to have the most number of possible backlinks pointing back to a client's website. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It often reports backlinks that have long since been removed, greatly reducing the accuracy of the reporting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
