- The Jira integration is very flexible and easy to set up. Luna keeps all existing and new Jira issues in sync, as per rules I customize in Luna (for example, matching a fix version across Jira projects).
- The dashboard, timeline and kanban boards which concentrate the essential information I want to have available at a glance from several Jira boards provide much needed clarity.
- The easiness with which I can share updates async to the right stakeholders, within a list of initiatives view relevant to them.
- Running my weekly stakeholder update meetings directly from Luna, removing the need to produce reports on the back of the information in Jira. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing to mention at this point in time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As an investment director, I used to struggle with tracking the progress and performance of my team's investment portfolios. Questions like 'Are all documents in place?' 'Have they received the necessary validations?' and 'Are the investments on track?' were constantly on my mind. My teams would spend their Friday mornings manually building reports that I required. With Luna, all investment projects are now centralized in a single hub, with a user-friendly interface, even for non-tech audiences. I can easily monitor performance, see when I need to step in for reviews or approvals, and identify any gaps in the validation processes. The weekly email summary I receive every Monday is the perfect way to start the week, providing me with all the up-to-date information I need. Luna was relatively easy to implement and has improved coordination and efficiency between the team members. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We rely heavily on Slides for our reviews. I’m aware that Luna is working on automating slide reports, and I'm very excited about this feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Project financing typically involves multiple stakeholders, such as Legal and Finance, requiring various approvals. I use Luna to coordinate decision-makers around shared project milestones and provide real-time updates to all stakeholders. Luna also enables me to clearly define, track and chase necessary approvals, such as financial clearances and legal consents. The automated workflows and notifications significantly reduce the time spent on alignment and follow-up efforts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not much I dislike. Since our project reviews are often done on slides, I am looking forward to their integration with power point to generate automated status reports on slides. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I chose Luna when my company started scaling to make sure that, as a founder, I keep the right visibility into the status of development and launches. Luna keeps me informed on whether launches are on track vs plans, highlights any key blockers requiring my attention, and flags critical decisions pending my input.
What I like most is how easy it is for someone like me, who isn’t involved in the day-to-day, to consume this information. My dashboard and the reports I receive via email are perfectly tailored to the level of detail I need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing specific at this stage, just a feature request: slides-based reports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Luna has very clean and helpful gantt charts:
- I can create different views to different stakeholders
- Easy to copy to a slide
- Has built in insights like highlighting that a project is due soon or outdated
Since I work with multiple cross-functional teams, it’s easy to set up kanban views for each team, to track their milestones across projects, without having to micro-manage their tasks.
As a leader in my company, I am not aware of what’s happening, what could have an impact on my KPIs, and potentially risk managing on time to avoid delays.
Luna’s team was very helpful in setting up the tool and answering our questions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
More of a feature request. Luna has a great automation to create a weekly digest of a project in a doc, it would be great to have it in slides. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As a CEO, Luna is great at giving me:
1- A view of all projects I need to be aware of
2- Insights into date and status changes and the reasons behind that change
My teams spend less time preparing meetings and I can come more informed. I also receive multiple reports in emails and Slack messages, which is very helpful
Luna makes it easy to export all data in an excel, I can then do some further analysis, especially on delays and bottlenecks.
Luna’s team helped us with set up, but we could have used Luna in self-serve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I know that the Luna team is improving their automated notifications, which is great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I tested Luna to replace the sheets and docs we use to report on project progress with tech leads and cross functional stakeholders - and it saved me hours of manual work every week! Here’s what I love most:
I can create customized roadmap views for my different stakeholders: one for my VP of Product and CPO, one for the GTM teams, one for the eng tech leads
I can create and share 'external' links. Sales can bookmark their own personalized view and access the info they need without having to log into Luna.
Luna consolidates qualitative information related to our projects, like decision logs and key risks
We can access any Luna data (progress information. blockers ..) directly from Slack and email
Luna is also very easy to set up. I imported all my existing projects from the sheets with one click, and the flexible Jira integration ensures we don’t need to duplicate data between the two tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I am looking forward to the launch of the OKR tracking feature in Luna. This feature would enable us to monitor the progress made on OKRs based on the status of the underlying initiatives. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We are heavy users of Jira, as a ticket management system. As such, we have been looking for a tool that allows us to communicate engineering work and progress to multiple audiences in different types of reports.
Luna’s Jira integration is very extensive and flexible:
- It gives us full control over what’s syncing and where.
- Jira’s configs mapping are available in Luna’s templates too, reducing the need for further setup.
- At the launch level, Luna gives us the control to further customize all the Jira configs and workflows.
Lastly, there is no burden at all on engineers, who neither have to change their way of working in Jira nor have to update Luna.
In terms of grouping and visualization, we really liked the Gantt charts provided by Luna:
- We create views that are dynamically updated and shared with the right audience.
- The Gantt charts were easily customizable, can be easily copied to a slide, and highlighted changes in key data.
- The whole data flows well from Jira to the charts in Luna.
Luna’s team is very responsive, willing to understand what success looks for us, and help us achieve it. The whole set up (including the integration) was straightforward and we could start using Luna quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Luna definitely meets our core needs. We are looking forward to further improvements in workflows and automations, and to continuing our collaboration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Luna solves the cross-functional communication and alignment pain points faced by managing portfolios of large projects. The teams particularly like:
_ The milestone centric structure: Luna connects the dots between departments and promotes a unified collaboration between Project, Finance, and Procurement teams (while most other tools we assessed often focused only on one aspect of the project).
_ Projects monitoring at different levels of details: as a Senior Director I have a high level view focused on whether projects are on track, the blockers, the key decisions taken / that need my review.
_ Change management and risk monitoring features.
_ Approval flows: decision makers get all the necessary data in one hub to proceed with approvals and validations.
Finally, the UI is very intuitive, the setup and onboarding went smoothly and I really value the quality and the reactiveness of Luna's support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
An integration with financial systems would be a useful addition. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- Luna enables me to effectively monitor and oversee multiple projects at the same time. I have different custom views (such as top projects, projects at risk, ongoing tenders ..) that I review every day to stay informed about key updates or changes in timelines and scopes. I also really like the email I receive every monday on the status of my company's projects, the open risks and the key decisions taken.
- The risk management features are very powerful as they enable my teams to proactively identify risks, escalate them to their managers or to me, and work on a mitigation plan - all within Luna.
- Luna's UI is very user friendly. It look us only few hours to set it up, plug our tools and onboard all users.
- Customer Support is exceptional - Luna's team is always available to answer any question we might have and collect our feedback and feature requets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I am looking foward to Luna's integration with Microsoft Teams as I would love to get the visiblity reports on Teams where I spend a lot of my time Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
