I struggled with other no-code platforms that required manual work, but this platform is a game changer. Nevertheless, the tool itself is basic, but the ease of access and user-friendliness make it a walk in the park. All i need to do is out the problem statement and the solution on a piece of paper and this tool helps me with refining the solution and making it come alive. Overall the first time I used it, it was a rush job to build a website for my brand. It did a fine enough job but quite a few hiccups...who cares it got the job done for what I needed at first. Then I had multiple issues with customer service and disclosure...still haven't heard back from billing issues. Then when I wanted to update my site make minor text copy changes first off I had to buy more credits since I hadn't heard back from support to even fix my site which I should have credits for. So it's like okay I'm out another $26ish dollars (I've invested way more with this site) but everytime I'd try to make a copy change it writes it's own texts, does what it wants, and burns through credits really spending the majority of the time pleading with it to stop working on its own accord. What should've taken an hour max has taken upwards of 3. Honestly you're better off dedicating the time to using other website builder providers. It's very easy to chat with the AI and see the websites building in front of you. You just open the website, chat with the AI about what you want to build, and it's very easy from there. I appreciate that they handle the hosting, and you just click to publish, and it's online. So every time you check with AI, it spends credits, and the credits is spending so fast, actually. And they don't like, when you are chatting every like, maybe if you send 20 messages, your credits are already over. But if you like, plan to do this, if you spend, like, three, four messages to Lovable, can already create the whole website, but should plan this before. It is like a prompt. Like engineering. Then you can even create a page with one single like, a sentence they spell. IT ACTUALLY MAKES WHAT I ASKED FOR! When there are database configurations, it walks me through it. It lets you request a "Plan" before executing your request. What used to take weeks and months could take me hours. And I am NOT a Developer. **What do you dislike about Lovable?** Here are some of the parts that no one talks about: 1. Lovable does not easily support traditional enterprise development environments. No branching, no dedicated databases for a particular Dev, QA, or Staging environment. Here's a real-world example: * You use Lovable to develop a software product you want to sell. Bring on other team members to help out and you're humming along. * Developer A makes a change that requires an update to the database. Developer A does a quick set of tests and it seems to work. Developer B makes a separate change that ALSO updates the database. Developer A is unaware of this new change and publishes their own updates (inadvertently along with Developer B's). Turns out, Developer B's change breaks stuff. Your product that you sold licenses to is not totally broken. 2. Lovable makes changes as it 'wants' to. That is, it forgets about other things you may have created. So the longer you work on something, the more likely a new update or feature will be to break an old one. And even when you have skilled Developers helping you, they struggle to find what exactly Lovable just did that broke stuff. The user interface is very friendly and practical. For professional users, having a pro account is a must if you want to customize manually your code or download it, besides it makes you use your credits more efficiently that you don't need to use AI for all the app features and modifications. Add ins are appropriate and easy to link. If you are a beginner with no real experience in coding, it is very practical and cost effective solution especially if you are aiming to make a simple website for your business for example or just for your personal branding. **What do you dislike about Lovable?** Although the actual features in Lovable are satisfying, it has the ability to be more efficient and user friendly, especially regarding the customization of web design features: text format options are limited, using the user interface instead of asking AI to do the modification is limited, it is not possible to use the "Edit visual" to add a piece of code unlike Sitely or Wordpress for example, but you still can modify add pieces of code using the "Code" sheet or by asking AI. Personally I find being obliged to ask AI for simple tasks like adding a text box or making a text bold or modifying a picture economically and ecologically not sustainable. AI is awesome, its power should be dedicated to more complicated tasks. **What problems is Lovable solving and how is that benefiting you?** I used Lovable personally to build a kids friendly web app, and it works pretty well with all the necessary security features. Lovable makes app and website building very easy and time efficient. It makes ideas take shape. It is perfect for startuppers and small business owners who are running on a budget to build their online presence as this solution is scalable. ### 44. If you want to quickly implement an idea or present a prototype, this tool is really good. **What do you dislike about Lovable?** As soon as you have very precise ideas about how the app should look and function, you quickly reach the limits. It starts with the design, where even after explicitly describing the style and components, you often only get the usual implementations presented, and continues with the implementation of complex logic. The subsequent troubleshooting can be quite frustrating and can also noticeably drain your wallet. **What problems is Lovable solving and how is that benefiting you?** Loveable is great for quickly creating an application and conducting initial user tests to check the idea for user-friendliness and to see to what extent functions and processes make sense. ### 46. It also has an agent that works through edits with the user - meaning it processed the inputs, plans and thinks of solutions and prepositions. I would highly recommend Lovable for those seeking a quick UI design to help visualize their product as well as learn how to communicate with an AI agent. For advanced users lovable can mock-up your entire application and save it in its Database allowing users to sync both their DB and lovable's for a seamless quick interactive product integration. **What do you dislike about Lovable?** Even though lovable attempts to allow users to make minor edits to see if they like the changes or resort back to their original design, the interaction there is a bit clunky and unreliable risking the loss of users design. If users are not accustom to communicating with an AI Agent then sometimes the end result is not quite clear nor what the user requested. Lovable could enhance some of its icons as well for a more modern feel. **What problems is Lovable solving and how is that benefiting you?** It's allowing users to create a quick mock-up with very little effort and no code needed. Users do not need a technical background or help from developers or designers to create their product. Lovable does not simply show users what they want it can also clear the path to what the user may not want in their product. Aside from the interactive visual, there is an AI assistant agent who can help users plan, analyze and access for problem solving and creativity. ### 47.
