I find backend management challenging with Lovable (I'm still using Supabase and haven't tried Lovable Cloud). Additionally, there are issues with frontend and backend branching, as well as setting up a proper development staging and production environment. I find that Lovable creates too many structural issues mainly because it doesn't fully understand how an app needs to work from the get go. Even though it's capability to resolve those issues is incredible. It does costs credit and prompts to do so. I find that lovable is incredibly good in resolving issues, but not as good in getting it right the first time. The research it conducts appears too linear and doesn't adequately take into consideration the dependencies and inconsistencies. Additionally, Lovable needs to guide the user more effectively, gaining a better understanding of foundational aspects for certain applications and working within those frames of reference. Sometimes when I tell Lovable to do something, it doesn't execute it properly. I have to use a credit to report that it doesn’t work, and then Lovable will attempt to fix the problem, ultimately using up two credits for the same task. I think if Lovable doesn’t work the first time for a certain prompt, when it finally works after being told to do it again, the second credit shouldn’t be used.
