What do you like best about Loopio?

Loopio's library and AI capabilities have allowed us to reduce the time in responding to large RFPs by over 50%. The ability to see workload by assignee and a holistic view of overall completion is critical to the management of RFP responses for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Loopio?

Mapping complex documents takes time and experience to master (but it's worth it). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Loopio?

Loopio has been extremely helpful in making our RFP team and our firm as a whole more efficient and consistent in our messaging. The first of two primary benefits has been creating a process that seamlessly includes the subject matter experts in the review process of our narrative library. The narrative library is kept organized and reliable throughout the year because we know when each narrative was last reviewed, by whom, and what changes were made. The second primary benefit has been efficiency in completing each project we import, share with business partners, compete with multiple reviews, and then export. What used to take us weeks now can take a matter of days. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Loopio?

The export functionality still needs some work. I realize this is largely to do with the uniqueness of the documents being imported, but there need to be more options and automatic matching of formats upon export. The export process for a long project is usually the most tedious part of the cycle. Magic is fine but I'd be interested to see how other firms are utilizing it better, if at all. What do you like best about Loopio?

✓ Useful for qualitative DDQs (word docs, PDFs, follow up questions)

✓ Online question library makes it easier to search for responses – it’s possible to search the library using multiple key words (rather than searching for one word or phrase, like in excel)

✓ The “magic” tool will auto-populate DDQs, pulling in responses from the question library – this is especially useful for standard requests, like ILPA templates

✓ It’s possible to assign questions to different internal teams to complete or review the response, like legal, tax or IR. They will then get email notifications of the task assigned to them (these can be switched off, too)

✓ Finished DDQs can be exported into the word or PDF files, complete with images, graphs, footnotes, etc.

✓ The “merge variables” tool will enable small updates to be made en masse to questions saved in the library – e.g. updating quarterly numbers, or number of realised deals Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Loopio?

X Not useful for heavy quantitative, excel-based DDQs as trying to store and maintain the content for quantitative analysis becomes too granular

X Building the content library and recreating the DDQs skeleton will require some effort at the onset, which should be mitigated by the time saved completing the request

X Saving completed responses from the project back into the question library after finishing a DDQ can be time-consuming, therefore a change in the process will be needed whereby all edits to DDQs should be made on the platform before exporting as a final document

X The “magic” tool (i.e. automated functionality for answers matching) may not always be useful for niche follow-up questions and will always requires double checking

X The question library can become “messy” over time if not managed appropriately, so it is important to define and follow an appropriate process in maintaining the content library Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Loopio?

The ability to organize and update library content in real-time, AI-generated responses, project data and analytics Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Loopio?

It would be very helpful if Loopio could offer a digital graphics library as well as editing features on the new PowerPoint feature. It would also be helpful if Loopio could offer a visual look at what a project would look like when exported. Loopio isn't great at generating projects for more complex RFPs, especially ones with forms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Loopio?

Loopio has a fantastic content library and excellent RFP automation tools--but so do another of their competitors.

What truly sets Loopio apart is some of the best customer/account support I have received from any company in my 20+ year career, as well as customer-focused, continuous development.

Loopio not only listens to their customers, but they take action. I can't even count how many times I've mentioned to my account manager "it would be nice if Loopio could eventually implement XYZ feature" and within weeks they're contacting me about beta testing the new feature for an upcoming release. And if it's not exactly what we're looking for, they'll continue to ask for our feedback until they launch a version that is exactly what we need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Loopio?

I honestly can't think of anything. They stand by their product, hire great people, and continuosly innovate to stay one step ahead of their competitors. I've used other RFP automation and proposal content tools in the past. I hope I never have to again. I'm 100% on Team Loopio. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Loopio?

Loopio was easy to learn and use. It does everything I need, including creating RFP projects, loading Questions & Answers into the library, searching, exporting a proposal to a company template, and producing reports. The customer support is outstanding. I usually hear back from an email request within the hour, and they are able to answer my question. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Loopio?

I would like to search in all "categories" EXCEPT a certain category. This is not available yet. You can search all categories, or search several categories by adding them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Loopio?

We have found the content library to be an effective and efficient way to track our previous and standard responses. It is easy to search for any topics due to the use of stacks and sub-stacks. The team has been super helpful with getting use onboard and it was easy to train new users. We look forward to using Loopio to collaborate with other teams internally. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Loopio?

It does take time to create and put in place a process which works for the firm, but once done, it is easy to maintain the content. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
