What do you like best about Logos?

The ease of use, the multiple windows option, the customization to my bible study needs. Logos has rendered all my other bible study software and print useless. I really love this tool, and it has opened up a whole new world of Christ centered, scholarly supported bible study and research. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Logos:

It's a great platform. I would recommend using both the web-app and the mobile app because they are faster interfaces than the desktop app. I would just be careful to make sure your PC has enough memory for logos or else it will be slow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Logos?

Logos has all the resources you can think of in one place. More than you'll probably use. Commentaries, Books, Media, Key Words, Sermon Prep and many more. The dashboard gives a glance at the different sections you can focus on. Devotional Time, Study Time, Sermon Prep Time, Deeper Theological Studies. Take a class, contribute your own information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Logos?

It's so much info that you can get a little overwhelmed. Also, the amount of resources causes it to be slow sometimes. Of course that may depend on the computer you are using. There are so many things that can be done that it takes a couple of tutorials to get the most out of the program. But it takes a lot of time to figure that out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Logos:

Logos is part of the Faithlife family which integrates the presentation software called Proclaim! That makes it easier for pastors to easily create slides directly from Logos to Proclaim without must effort. In addition the Sermon Editor also gives you the option of creating fill-in-the-blanks handouts.

You'll have at your fingertips thousands of resources: Bibles, commentaries, dictionaries, Greek & Hebrew resources, illustrations, media, devotional reading resources, writing your own notes and prayer lists that you get to create. You can pay over time or all at once depending on your financial ability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Logos solving and how is that benefiting you?

Preparing sermons in a shorter period of time. The resources opens you up to a new world of information that you didn't know existed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's a must have software for study and integrates with all other Faithlife products. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Logos?

The graphics are easy to ready and has so many resources that you'll have more than you need to study, prepare sermons, lessons. You can prepare sermons directly from Logos and export the sermon in slides to Proclaim. Logos has apps for iPads and iPhones too and everything would be in sync.

Logos can become one stop shop for all your Bible-related activities - sermon notes, sermon creation, devotional notes, journaling. If you are away from your computer you can access your account through the web as if you were directly on the app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Logos?

The overwhelming amount of resources slows the software down. You can easily get lost with so much that is available. Organizing the screens, and becoming familiar with all the tools will take a lot of patience. The videos to learn how to use Logos are great (if you have hours upon hours to sit and learn it all). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Logos:

Logos continues to add more features that makes it more valuable to the everyday Bible reader, theologian, Bible teacher, pastor, chaplain and others interested in Bible languages and history. Once you've gotten the hang of using it you will be able to have everything at your fingertips. Your personal notes, your sermons, your devotional thoughts, customized readings, prayer lists, sharing with groups through Faithlife. Take it with you through your mobile devices and tablets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Logos solving and how is that benefiting you?

The books, commentaries, lexicons and Bibles in my bookshelf haven't been accessed much. The time spent looking through each book has been cut down to a matter of seconds where most of the resources can be accessed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
