Hoplon has been working with Localize Direct since 2017, to localize the game Heavy Metal Machines, in the following languages: Russian, German, French, Spanish, Turkish and Polish.

As a PC multiplayer the game, it has a lot of content (+35.000 words just in English), so localizing it is no simple task, and using Localize Direct's have brought us the best results. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Localize Direct?

Their work processes are amazing! They are always improving them, which is greatly appreciated and helps us improve the way we provide the localization guidelines for them.

Everyone at LD is friendly and can be easily reached out to, no matter which department.

LD has Localization Project Managers in our time zone (Americas), making it easy to reach out to them in our working hours.

We provide game translation & localization QA services in more than 61 language pairs. We developed Gridly - the spreadsheet for multi-language content tailor-made for games and digital projects. Sign up for free: gridly.com Founded in 2009, now, LocalizeDirect incorporates a network of more than 400 native-speaking translators and game testers with a number of sales, LQA, and project managers working internationally. The HQ is based in Helsingborg, Sweden with the development team operating in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. LocalizeDirect translated over 81 million words in 1000 games for more than 700 clients.

They're problem solvers. The translators are very proactive. They think about things that help us with the original texts as well. You can see that they do care about the product. They always ask about the things that are not clear to understand better and translate perfectly. It is very important for us that our games are equally enjoyable and easy to understand for people all around the world, and we trust Localize Direct with this task. LD helped us with a huge PC RPG called INSOMNIA: The Ark, which has more than 160.000 words of dialogues and other in-game texts. Their job was to proofread the English translation from the previous translation agency because the translations contained a ton of terrible mistakes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Localize Direct?

I liked the attitude of the managers. They were very polite and were always ready to assist or meet you halfway in case there was an issue.

Also we were happy with the proofreading that LD has done. The texts got much more understandable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
