It is as though they have deliberately made it difficult to do business with them without sitting through a time-share style sales pitch.

For what you pay, Recruiter Lite (month-to-month) is not particularly useful. This is designed to drive you to their more expensive products and solutions that contain the filters you actually need but at six times the prices. And the more expensive solutions are only available on yearlong contracts that auto-renew without giving you any warning so watch your contract dates VERY CAREFULLY.
