Program is fairly easy to use and pretty much straight-forward. The grossing aspect, which I use, is easy to train to new employees. I like that you can customize any protocols that we use in the lab and apply them directly in the LIS. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

When creating a new test or setting up new equipment for production, I love that I can work with Ligo Lab support. Sometimes setting up or training on a new type of test can be hard because there are so many ways to do one thing that it can get confusing. However, I am fortunate to have an excellent support team and Ligo Support such as Drew Taphorn, who is great at explaining things and showing us his process so we can better understand. The LigoLab system is straightforward to navigate and configure. The speed at which we were able to configure our first client and go live was impressive. The report templates have some formatting limitations. For example, if you have only one image to insert, the text cannot "wrap around it" to eliminate white space. From an admin perspective, the ease of use when it comes to customizing the parts of any one thing is lacking. There are many pieces that, when altered, have unintended downstream consequences. It is excellent that there is an infinite number of possible customizations, but it would be nice if it were a touch more straightforward for a client to make the changes they need without needing experts from ligolab to step in and do it for us. With the loss of our IT Manager I was sort of thrown in to doing some things that I had little to no training on. Although I am usually able to figure it out myself I often have had to rely on LIGO help. On top of that I am getting COVID fatigue and at times, as I'm with LIGO help on a team viewer session or such I will suddenly see the problem and feel like an idiot. I am normally very sensitive to 'hearing' any sort of frustration in someone's voice and either they are very good at hiding it or they just don't get frustrated. Sometimes it feels like there are many different ways to accomplish one thing and for me that is a little frustrating. Having said that, I've had that same experience with different systems.
